Dear CCP: How do I talk to Jon Lander?

I to am an old vet that has been pining for something to do.

Although I have not "maxed out" my skills I have slightly maxed out my experiences. Going back to the roots of the early experience (fun) is my current goal.

If you actually want to talk to Mr. Lander (CCP Unifex), you'll probably have the chance to do so in Newcastle (UK) on June 28th.

In any case you should consider going through the regular channels (F&I, CSM delegates, ...) before bothering upper management with whatever idea you came up with.

Your idea is probably not as unique or important as you think it is and communications with "important" persons is usually made hard/filtered for good reasons (what if everyone....); not saying that it's impossible that you have some unique proposition you have to make to Mr. Lander in person but for every legit proposal of that sort there are guaranteed to be a a few dozen people who just send him a copy of every GD thread they start because "OMG what I think is important!!!!".

either he doesnt use it or just maybe is waaaaay too busy with say work to bother with what the community support should deal with. hes ccp unifex if u have to make a comment but it will only succeed in pissing him off if just random players mail him their ideas when community officers are who to go to

When I first saw this thread, I misread the title and thought it was about trying to talk to Jon Lassiter. He'd probably be an awesome guy to meet. Maybe if you were lucky you could parley that into speaking a single line in the next pixar project in the works. When compared to that, this thread fails.

Sorry, but just gotta say that a pint is not huge - it's a pint. no more no less...


Try "a huge beer" for less exact volume descriptions that allow for an alternate interpretation when he calls you on the offer.
