Dropping roles right now, and the rules state that the character must be in an NPC corporation at the moment of the sale, that is when the money is effectively transfered.

Not while advertising it.

How am I supposed to enjoy the game if I can't play with my friends in corp while I try to sell it ? I just sit on my ass in a station ?

If you're going to enforce rules, at least do it in a smart manner...
