The Trials of Purging

last night I dock at the Amarr Oris station. It had been a long flight filled with many dangers and tribulations. It was good to be able to finally sit down and eat a meal that was not freeze dried in the vacuum of space. The food had been imported from the planet below, and was truly delicious.

I am afraid that I may have went a little bit overboard however. I purchased and ate 2 tacos with habanero sauce, 5 burritos and 3 gorditas with ghost pepper dressing. Afterward I filled up on spiced salsa and several more Enchiladas and Fajitas, as well as something called a colonoscopy which I thought was a weird name for a side dish, and man did it ever burn as it went down. I must say, only a Brutor male could have downed all of this at once, and I am telling you the truth when i say it was delicious. Such a welcome change from spacefood.

But That Night....

That night was when what I call the "Trials of Purging" began. Once it started I could not get it to let up. I find this "Purging" of my inner self to be a truly spiritual experience. The burden on me both mentally and physically is great, and I am thankful to be here in the Amarr's home system during this great tribulation. Here, I can feel all of the martyrs and delvers of the spirit that came before me.

I do not regret that dinner, but as I ate it I could not have imagined what lay in store for me come the next day. At this point, I am thinking that some of the Fajita meat was bad Shocked As the "Trials of Purging" continue, I pray that I will have the strength to endure and emerge a better man. Next time, I will go easy on the ghost pepper sauce and probably skip any side dish that has a name resembling a medical exam. All I know is that some day soon my mind and body would have reached a higher plane of understanding, if for no other reason than the euphoria generated from chronic dehydration. Also, if you are on the Oris station and you are reading this transmission, does anyone out there hearing the sound of my voice know of a good plumber?

Trials of Purging continue onward... I will keep you all updated.
Keep the faith my friends, and pray for me!

I am sure that the atmosphere scrubbers on Oris will be put to the test.

*notes not to go to that station for a good while*

And be advised not to ignite your vessel's thrusters in the docking area for at least 24 hours after these trial conclude - just in case.

This may be the best thing I have seen on the IGS.... well, ever.

Out of curiosity, do people find that funny or are they being sarcastic ?

Congratulations, you just single-handedly wrote a theology that decimates thousands of years of Amarrian scripture.

Dear, you fail to see many things.

I can't believe that I of all people am saying this, but lighten up.

Well, you could explain why, at least.

One would have a greater chance of success trying to teach thermodynamics to a fish than to explain humor to the likes of Farel.

Move along, Farel. There's nothing for you to see here, hon.

That makes sense, I guess.

So anyway, it was about humour. So many posts just to avoid telling me that single word ? Answering directly would have saved you a lot of effort.

I found it amusing, yes.

Render unto Khanid the things which are Khanid's; and unto God the things that are God's.
