So my fleet chat goes something like this:

RavenPaine > Warp to Akidagi, Jump on contact.
RavenPaine > 7 wt on the gate. Should I tackle one?
RavenPaine > No you ******, your solo!
RavenPaine > OK Boss, You're right. Next gate plz?

etc. etc.

I joined FW to at least have the option available. Been busy in RL, and building back up is kind of a job in itself. requires commitment and all that. I am seriously getting kill hungry. Miss it a lot.

According to this thread, Minmatar Miltia has no good FCs, only fail ones.

And Jones Bones is awesome, you (BolsterBomb) sound like a nerd with a remote up his ass that doesn't follow this own rule that people want to be entertained: this isn't a soviet gulag, it's an imaginary pixel game.

The best FCs are the charismatic and funny ones, who people WANT to follow not because they are told to, but because of their attitude and persona.

Confirmed I have TWO remotes up my butt and no one EVER has fun in my fleets and I am a huge Deushbag that has no clue on how to control a fleet except yell and scream

Just a heads up to all the caldari botters and market types, caldari fw corps will bedumping mass into systems to get their tier system up to 4 next week so they can cash in their stockpile real fast. Apparently aside from the letting people into fleet thing he lets them onto coms too. Just remember to save at least one CNR for yourself for the fight in nenn/ enaluri.

Yeah, not sure about "never scout if you're FCing"

Sure there are good scouts that do well painting a mental picture of the grid, but they are no replacement for things you see yourself. Plus, you have some guys say stuff like "oh they have no huginns" because he had his 2008-era BS-only overview loaded. Done right, do it yourself, etc.

Yeah, I kinda new I spelt it wrong.

But then, I didn't know the national socialist spelling police were about.

If you were really sharp you could point out the fact I started the previous sentence with a conjuction, which would indeed be a misuse of grammar, as opposed to your earlier misuse of grammar, where you said I had bad grammar, when in fact it was my spelling that was wrong..

If you need to see it then either your scouts suck, and cant give accurate intel, or you suck, and cant interpret the intel, or they weren't trained right, or you weren't.Either way you probably shouldn't be the FC, if you can't function without being your own scout.

If you want to go putzing about with half a dozen of your buddies it's fine, but not in a real fleet.

As much as some of these make sense, theres a lot of subjectives, depending on whether your a serious-business fleet that can't lose a ship and must get high value kills, or a car-crash slosh-op that just wants to die in the biggest fire they can find and go down swinging.

I'd say theres a couple of rules to remember, that as long as you get these right, a lot of other sins can be forgiven:

- Make sure your fleet knows what the fleets about. If your pilots know from the get-go you are only going to engage under certain circumstances, they wont get pissy if you dont engage on a iffy fight. Likewise, if everyone knows the plan is to all come back in pods, they'll be less likely to complain when they lose a ship.

- Know when to call it a night. Some days you just get unlucky. Other fleets run away, that nullified T3 dodges through your fleet, and all the ratters POS up when your two jumps out. Yeah, its a *****, but whats worse is holding out for that one kill to vindicate the failed evening. Mainly because it wont, and secondly, because that extra 40 minutes going through 'just one more pocket, we're sure to get a kill here', is only making matters worse.

It's official, as a corp and an alliance, I am a complete failure as an FC.

-I'm always **** face wasted when I FC.
-Scouts are for the risk averse, that is- not us..
-The main pipe is my favorite place to haze nerds.
-I dont repeat primaries, thank you 'x' broadcast button
-We don't use 'battlecomms' and even saying it will get you kick/banned from mumble
-This is an internet spaceship GAME try having fun.
-Your killboard stats don't mean anything.


OP this thread makes you sound like a tryhard bitterfag that has been flying in bad fleets formed out of Militia Chat.
