That is lame. CCP didn't need to nerf the drones into the ground just to make mining profitable. Sounds like they were too focused on the cries of the miners to notice how gimped drones would be from a ratter's perspective.

They could add alloys back as a spacial drone hauler spawn, and make them as rare as other hauler spawns.

Maybe some meta versions of the new drone damage mods, and faction/officer versions.

I don't really think it was a "cries of the miners" thing - getting rid of the drone alloys was a necessary thing if mining was ever going to be a valid profession again. In typical CCP fashion though, they just thought a straight swap of alloys for bounties would be sufficient, instead of realizing that the alloys were something to help overlook all of the other inherent deficiencies of the drone regions themselves.

I looted a target breaker bpc from a solid(goodies)wreck and the rest came from hollow wrecks(empty-but not really).

Bottom line is that in drone regions, BS rats in the belts drop bpcs for the new modules and these drops can be from either solid or hollow wrecks with the majority coming from hollow wrecks. Also, I have looted all the wrecks from a few hordes/patrols just to see if any bpcs would drop, none were found. So it seems that it's only the BS rats in the belts.

Additionally drones have a very lame salvage and there are no good complexes except 10/10. It makes drone regions not attractive for players.

so you wanna know the best way to make CCP listen to you without unsubing?

Very simple

1 - you and your friends leave does regions
2 - all wine at the forums to make a big thread
3 - People will start to move to occupy you're older space gank them so no one leaves there
4 - CCP will make a statement , Badmouth it as hard as you can so they move faster
5 - move back there after the change have be done
6 - ******
7 - profit

Hope this help because some forum tears are very good so we can both win something

And instead of pushing for a proper change to Drone Regions, what does he do?

I agree with OP. Drones should be just like Sleepers. So, some of the salvage should be nanoribbons. They should also drop items used in T3 manufacturing.
