I am sure this has been discussed at length before... but why is Tech III insurance virtually non-existent? It definitely reinforces that Tech IIIs are a luxury only for the wealthier players.

Same goes for T2 and faction ship insurance.

Insurance should be removed from all hulls.

Because insurance is pegged to minerals. When the majority of market price is not mineral-based, insurance looks like it doesn't cover much.

T3 insurance was significantly lower than T2 comparing my tengu vs my nighthawk, I was bored and wondered how bad the insurance was.

Because CCP want you to lose isk. It is "working as intended" or they would fix it.

Never forget:
You are here for fun
CCP is here for money

Insurance is a isk sink plain and simple it works great for T1 hulls but T2/3 Faction/Pirate ships are IMHO in the area of don't fly it if you cannot afford to lose it

It isn't. CCP Diagoras released stats showing more ISK is created by it then put into it.

Making it a faucet plain and simple.

T2 insurance is actually pretty decent. And I would know this, having just lost quite a few T2 ships.

Did they change it? I've never insured any T2 or faction ship in seven years.

Think of it as market potential - offer insurance plans to T3 players. There, profit.
