Ok, just finished a plex bringing a system to "vulnerable" state, and started wondering how hard is it to kill an IHUB? Shooting it for a few minutes in my frig did absolutely nothing.

I looked it up in item database, but I believe (hope) that the description was for some 0.0 space sov structures.

When I asked in militia chat I was told you need dreads and/or multiple battleships and a lot of time.

And forum search didn't yield any useful info.

So, how many hitpoints does an IHUB have? And what resists? (if any)

Thanks.

hitpoints wise it's bit like a small pos I quess. It's resists are all equal. It has relatively high shield recharge rate which means one boat afk shooting it wont take it down (barring sieging dreadnought).

If you have 15 high-dps boats like nagas, oracles, etc. you bash it in about half-an-hour, give or take couple of minutes.

Normally you will see a 30 to 40 many BS/BC group kill one in about 45 minutes to and hour, or you can drop 4 dreads and take 2 siege cycles to kill it. If you bring anything less than that your looking at hours to kill it.

Honestly, shooting IHubs sucks. You are better off properly scouting out and strategicly planning it with a well-known group of people. Then drop about 10-15 moms and just melt the damn thing and pop smoke in under 10 minutes.

Again though, properly planning. Otherwise you risk losing a super or two.

I do think FW Ihubs are (fortunately) much less robust than 0.0 Ihubs. Someone might clarify me on this though as I have little experience with those.

I think you are correct. I have shot one in Null when in a massive Abaddon gang - We had well over 100 BS's.
It seemed to take much longer than we have taken to do FW hubs in much smaller fleets.

I think the one in Oyo went down in about 5-10 minutes the other day. Not sure if the 3 dreads that got dropped went into a second siege cycle or not...
