Geeks will always think they know everything, when they are ironically mostly misinformed (or in denial) about how society actually works. They disguise thier loathing of life in general behind the semi-anonymity of this Web.

I know ALL about being that kind of Control Freak. It took years, and 2 therapists, to break that mind trap for me. And if my life then was an example, you do NOT want to see how wrecked the other aspects of their lives are.

And really, nobody will remember a thing they typed in a week. Much less in 10 years. Sad really. None of it is of any import to anyone ever, at all.

At one time my views may have been considered extreme, but today I believe they would be considered very much in the mainstream. Smile

OMG!!!!!!! I want to gank a miner so badly...! The urge is way too intense but i have to resist the urge or I will get into trouble... I could use a hug right now and see if that cheers me up because sitting down here without targetting a miner is driving me more crazier than usual....

Won't be as long as James315's since that reminded me of Mein Kampf, a very bulky volume in itself rattling on about how the Jews are the cause of all the world's problems, and so James 315s manifesto blames, in a shockingly similar way, all Eve's problems on hisec miners.

I don't mine in hisec, I just think they are unfairly made scapegoats of a Joseph Goebbels-like propaganda campaign.

I just want to analyse for a minute a gankers mindset, when scrolling through those killboards and seeing how so many gankers have all these Hulk kills under their belts.

Would anyone REALLY think highly of someone who used a Destroyer with 8 overheated guns to shoot down a Mining vessel with none?

I suspect the REAL reason gankers do what they do, is because they are TERRIFIED little souls, who shake all over at the very thought of fighting in nullsec, losec, WHs, yet desperately want recognition from other players through killboard stats.

Are the Goons courageous in financing Hulkageddon V? Hardly, their mining vessels are tucked away securely from all danger in their nullsec home, systems surrounded by blues.

Sure this is a sandbox, people do what they want, but psychoanalysis is interesting at times Blink

Hisec miners are the real courageous ones, who, despite the terrible dangers to their expensive vessels, carry on enjoying their Eve hobby nonetheless, thinking up ingenious ways in staying alive.

I salute you Hisec miners , wish I was as brave as you are 07.

Should've heard me laughing 2 weeks ago when I lost a tengu worth 4 times as much. My CEO wasn't laughing, but he's a tight arse about killboard stats.

Destroy your corp and make your CEO quit EVE.
People that run corporations in a game like bad administrators run corporations in real life are dumb.

Dude, better not point out public statements he made in the past. He gets mad and will report you.

You think world powers were raging and crying like this in WWII when subs were sinking unarmed cargo ships left right and center? no. Grow a pair, adapt, this is EVE.

Yes.. they were. Because allot of those cargoships were converted to troop transports and hospital ships.

Thats why the german admiralty went to Nuremberg as well.

And yet its ironic.. in a world where ship functionality determines cost, that warships are cheaper than commercial merchant ships without armaments.....

In WW2, it was the other way around with warships costing more than merchant vessels...

Eve's problem is an over abundance of extremely cheap and disposable warships.... and an equal amount of asshats willing to throw them headfirst into the Atlantic...

Eve is about Capital ships, WiS, Boobs, PI and Isk!

A destroyer or torpedo boat cost much less than a cargo ship. A battleship cost more.

*Looks at EvE prices*

Looks good to me.

Even a blind man would think a corpse is good looking...

Real world cargo vessel cost:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Container_ship

Real world frigate cost:
http://www.casr.ca/id-danish-naval-projects-frigate.htm

Looking at those prices .... I can buy 3 -> 10 cargoships for a single frigate in American $.

And torpedo boats are canoes with torp launchers and an onboard motor. srsly.

I think CCP need to take a good, long hard look at the mineral requirements for ships. Increase the cost of warships dramatically, for all classes and decrease the cost of industrial/merchant vessels by leaps and bounds.

If a destroyer cost more than a covetor...... those would be awesome days for pricing accuracy vs function.

Eve is about Capital ships, WiS, Boobs, PI and Isk!
