Am I the only guy that feels that Jade Constantine sounds like a certain dictator that was murdered by his people recently?

He was so absorbed in his megalomania that he acted like the victorious king of the world until the second he was beat to death on the street like a dog, by his own people.

"ME, THE GREAT JADE CONSTANTINE, WILL BE REMEMBERED AS THE ONE THAT DEFEATED YOUR LEADER, AND BROKE HIS SPIRIT AND AN------".

Attention whores to the end, I guess.

And he's very much "your guy" - its easy to dig up plenty of posts with Goonswarm saying he should have been the new chair and Mittani endorsing him.

Because endorsing a chairman for his competency is the same as saying that we're puppeteering the panel. How the hell do you get up in the morning, knowing that there are world governments IRL out there? Forget straw-man arguments, you're just going to crap out more and more irrelevant facts until you paint our position as some form of deluded vision you have set out for us to be.

The next thing you'll tell us is that you're not entrapping new players into a war-dec system that you're responsible for creating. YOU chose to turn the war mutual. Want to know what the rest of us think?

"Awesome, more guys to shoot for free."

The real victims here aren't the corporations with an irrational fear of the Goonswarm Federation. They should know better by now. If not, they'll learn from Lossmails.

The real victims are the new players that YOU are trapping in a war that, short of exiting your terrible alliance by disbanding, is killing the inexperienced.

I almost want to send you a freaking medal in honor for your excellent griefing of the High-Sec community. How does it feel to be the Cancer?

Using a weapon as a deterrent in a diplomatic situation is only viable when you have proven that you have deployed it in the past and are willing to use it in the future.

the funniest part is, jade forgot even he admitted the timeline doesn't work for his war to have been the impetus for the changes

like that is a thing he posted in this thread himself and yet now we have him sperging about how it was the fear of jade that caused this

Ok I am not going to feed your need for attention after this post. Jade you are having mental issues. I actually work in this field I see people like you quite often. Get some help. **** eve and all that BS. This is one human being to another. Go see a counselor and talk about your real life problems that have led you to be this obsessive and delusional. I can tell you that eve is not the only place you have built up a delusional world that centers around you and everyone who doesn't agree with you is out to get you. You think you are a hero.

As I said before Eve is not the only place you have done this. You have to be doing it in real life too. People do this for protection because they can't deal with something such as a personal loss or a roadblock in their life. It is easier for some people to avoid the problem all together and live in a fantasy world. When the fantasy crumbles down around them (and it will) that is when people do something they can never undo. Get help and don't become a statistic.

There are some pretty extraordinary responses to what is a very simple debate about game mechanics. I do wish everyone involved on the other side would take a moment to go have brew a nice cup of tea and calm down a little before continuing. Perhaps have one's significant other have a read of the things you've been posting to bring a second opinion before carrying on.

Sorry to say Constantine, but I agree with this guy...

I study psychology as well and I have to say that you are exhibiting severe signs of delusional paranoia and megalomania.
You are one of those people that are prone to suicide and stuff like that due to a "defeat" in a virtual world.

The only thing that pushes you mental cases to suicide is your own screwed up mind, because you cannot take a joke and see that this is only a game.

I am dead serious right now, get help, get help or you'll end up like that other mental case that The Mittani apparently "Pushed to suicide".

I think you're actually insane, about half your posts don't appear to know about the other half. In this case we're discussing your crazy conspiracy theories because you keep posting them - and posted them on the last page about five minutes ago.

I'd prefer you actually respond to anything anyone posts, and stop linking conspiracy theories, but that isn't happening, so let's talk tea. It will be more constructive, if less on topic.

I prefer oolong, loose, and I think the second brewing gives the best flavor. Yourself? Did your clients have a strong preference for a certain type of tea?

So much goon in this thread.

For not caring about war decs the goons sure seem to have a lot of them and sure seem to support a change that hugely favors them and still doesn't address the real issues or help the merc market.

I don't see this change as a good thing. In the end we'll pay up to still have all the effective allies and empire stays a giant red blob to the goons. I hope all the small guy allies we have now join the new alliance to continue to hunt them as well. We'll have to pay while the goons won't but in the end, just more an annoyance to us because of one persons ego.

But this is Eve. Good news is I am sure when this doesn't change much I trust CCP will come up with something else and that might be something better, or not, because again, this is Eve! Big smile

'Much better wardec history'

Ignoring the fact that we've been around since 2010, we don't actually live in high sec, or that we don't have an illustrious history as talent for hire?

Define 'much better' and please note any periods of GSF's history which lacks war. We're getting somewhere, but not far. Also, I'm still curious on the tea thing.

Issler: I recommend splitting your alliance into many small alliances, as given the scaling formula for wardecs, it becomes prohibitively expensive for GSF to wardec all of them. This is and has always been an acceptable use of game mechanics. Also, it will continue to be a way for smaller groups to gain more allies, as each war will get the initial free, 10m, 20m, and 40m ally slots.
