For best in general heat management and to minimize dmg to the propulsion mod= ab/mwd do you:

1. Install the prop in first rack slot followed by a passive mod
2. Install in between two passive mods
3. Install at the end of the rack

kinda depends on how many mids you have but generally end of the rack is the best option.

well i just tested all 3 fitting arrangements timed with stopwatch and 5 trials each = Testing was inconclusive at best i could maybe tell the best arrangement yields about 1 more cycle but thats unreliable

#1 timed better than 2

#3 was a wild card with extreme of 2 cycles under average and 2-3 cycles over

tldr; inconclusive results with prob reliably 1 cycle worth of variance

Which end of the rack does not matter. First slot and last slot are the same.

Placing between two passive modules would be almost as good, but you will not always have enough passive models in your fit to do this. Also, you would be doing heat damage to both adjacent modules.

I would say put it at either end of the rack with a passive module next to it.
