Federal Citizens used as bait in Sansha war ! Confessions of Secret Agent !

Gutter Press recently met with a man, claiming to be a recently retired Federal Intelligence Officer, who revealed some startling information!

He alleged that the FIO knowingly placed thousands, if not tens of thousands of Federal citizens in vulnerable locations during the Sansha's Nation intrusions, to gather information about the Nation methods!

Claiming it was for the good of the Federation as a whole, he explained the reason behind the scheme:

"When Kuvakei resurfaced, we had no information, we drew a blank every time a Federation colony was attacked. There was nothing at all that explained what happened. Morale amongst our agency was at an all time low.
Then, as chance would have it, one of the colonies attacked, a resident there was a film technology hobbyist. They had an old-style film camera. Crude by any modern standards, but it gave us the first hints as to what was going on.
The footage recovered from that camera indicated that some form of electronic warfare had knocked out most devices on the colony, the camera itself was immune because it had no electronic components, it was that primitive.
Once we saw that, we had an idea. We hired several immigrant Seibestor artificers to construct more cameras, equip them with mechanical timers and other instrumentation, and placed them in frontier colonies where Naval Intelligence suspected the Sansha would strike next."

This ingenious scheme allowed the FIO to piece together the pattern of Nation's attacks, and revealed the full horror behind them! At immense and shocking human cost !

"It was a very slow process. Dozens of colonies were attacked, and we only got tiny fragments of footage. Our best agents pieced it together, and eventually it became clear what was happening.
The Nation attacks begin with a wide ranging electronic attack, disabling key infrastructure that would allow a defence. Then, their atmospheric craft land, and begin abducting the populace. I don't know how or why, that was a different division, all I saw was people walking towards the craft, and being tractor beamed aboard. It was horrifying.
Thousands of Federal citizens were taken by Nation, to give us this information. If it was up to me, I'd award them all the Federal Eagle, for their sacrifice in service of the Federal ideal. But I can't. And so I retired. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a date with a Quafe Girl, after which, I intend to shoot myself. Good Day to you."

Shocking !

Police reports indicate the man was later found dead in his hotel room. Cause of death was not gunshot, but appeared to be a broken neck. The coroner refused to confirm or deny that the pattern of injuries was consistent with the victim having his neck crushed between the thighs of an undercover FIO agent pretending to be a Quafe Girl.

The Quafe Girl remains at large.

Sen-sational !

Well. One can spin conspiracy theories around any security and intelligence services, as the nature of their business requires a certain degree of secrecy. It's also very convenient that whoever who made these claims is now unavailable.

However, I would like to remind that FIO has a solid record of trustworthiness. Well developed ethical judgment is the foundation of their employment standards. Even if it was true that when protecting the population at large the danger level of some citizens was increased, this risk would't have been taken unless it benefited the overall safety of everyone.

You have no self-awareness at all, do you. Do you even read what you write?

This is quite an accusation especially in light of the the source's untimely death and unavailability for others to speak with. Most unfortunate, indeed. I'm no conspiracy buff however so, I'll await further information before forming an opinion.

P.S. That shade of lipstick is all wrong for your complexion Muck Raker. I'd recommend a pale pink.

You're assuming, of course, that there was ever a reliable source for the story.

It makes my skin crawl to think I must agree with one of my least favorite members of one of my least favorite organizations. Tragic as that may be, the lipstick is not mixing well with the hair color, skin tone, or lighting. I do like strong lip tones, however, and might instead suggest a different hair color and light.

This shade of lipstick is my "work" lipstick.

So people know it's me.

Because how many others do you know wear this shade?

I like the green lipstick and bleached blonde hair. I think it's bold and distinctive.

It may not be what's fashionable among society women, but clothing and make-up are great ways to express oneself.
