It is true; information in the exploration section can be outdated. However, as it stands, the exploration section is one of the more active and better organized corners of the Evelopedia.

The wiki is as good as we, the community, make it. So, if you come across information that is outdated, instead of staring passively at the inconsistencies, please invest some time and improve the site's description.

^^ This is a good post ^^

I guess you don't loot and salvage factions rats.

This might actually be a shock to you but looting faction rat and looting/salvaging whole anomaly are two, quite different, things.

How do you classify faction rat that is part of the anomaly? You know... you kill all the rats in the anomaly and very last spawn you get a faction rat... I mean, if you do not kill regular rats, you don't get the faction rat... Do you classify this as two separate events? Even though you have to do one in order to get the other?

I think you two essentially agree, even though you came at it differently.. looting & salvaging faction rats are awesome, normal rats are less so, but works if you don't mind the grind.

Since you are this dense,

You kill the faction rat, bookmark the wreck (right click > save location), warp to the POS/Station, reship to your salvage frigate, warp to the aformentioned bookmark, open the wreck, press loot all, engage your 3-4 salvagers, wait until success, warp to the POS/Station, reship to your anom ship, warp to the next anom. If there is no faction rat, you skip right to warping to the next anom.

Ah, I did not realize you are one those who drag two ships around. Very good. (I will be in the next system, making sure there is no more anomalies for you ☺)

The beauty of upgrading your systems. Anoms everywhere.

Ugh

Has anyone in this thread said anything about NOT killing rats in anomaly?
NO!
That is THE POINT of doing anomalies. Shocking Isn't it.

No one said about looting faction rats because that should be obvious.

The thing is that salvaging and looting ALL rats is quite pointless ( you can still do it but you will benefit much more if you spend this time doing another anomaly ).
And yes - we were talking about pointlessness of looting/salvaging ALL rats.

I don't shoot faction rats because I know they're just going to drop tags and ammo and I don't want to be disappointed when I open the wreck.

This is for blood raiders:

Forsaken hubs: For each wave, kill just one battleship first. Then you can kill whatever remains and a new wave wont spawn until all the ships in your current wave are dead.

Forlorn: First wave - a BC will be the trigger, usually highest bounty.

2nd wave - an AHAC will be the trigger. Haven't worked out which one. Not always is it the highest bounty one.

Wave with the Nueters: A neuting BS will be the trigger. The non-neuting BSs wont be the trigger in this wave. it will be the neuter that is the only one of it's kind that spawned in that wave, usually oracle or harbinger

The guy saying shoot crosses is giving overly simplistic bad advice =p. If your a tanker then you need to know the triggers as by not spawning anything too early, you get to minimise your tank which means you can fit more gank which is more isk / hr
