Complex loot - deadspace drop nerfed?

Having returned to eve after about 2 years of inactivity i've done some plexing and i'm starting to wonder if there has been a nerf to the deadspace loot drop of the overseers?

When i used to do sansha plexes, 6/10 - 10/10 back in the days i got a decent to good loot drop more than 50% of the times, now i've done 5 or 6 sansha plexes 7/10 - 10/10, and only got ope all of the times.

Am i being extremely unlucky or has there been a nerf to how often the deadspace mods drops? or perhaps an indirect nerf if the loot drop ammount stayed the same while the number of plexes spawned went up drastically with the ihub upgrades introduced?

I would have to agree. Five - six is an adequate sample size to draw this conclusion. Exploration is in fact, broken.

Or you don't know what you're talking about.

You decide!

If you had done 50 sites and got nothing then I would start wondering if loot tables weren't nerfed.
But after 6 sites?

You just got unlucky and that is all. I remember doing about 20 GSOs in a row and getting only OPEs. Then I got 3 boosters and 2 adaptives from 4 sites in a row. Random was/is/will be random.

I just logged awhile ago to check my character and to do a bit of exploration which I just gotten interested in as I was busy irl.

Found two 4/10 DED complexes within a short span of two hours, in which both sites dropped Pithum C-type shields.

Didn't really know how much they were worth.

Check market.

I went 3/5 on A-type EANMs from Crimson Hand Supply Depot this week. The other two dropped ope and nothing else. I'm ok with this.

o/ Sir Livingston

i've seen your DED complex runs on youtube, very interesting and informative. I think it was
your videos that got me interested in highsec exploration, hopefully I'll be able to fly either a
tengu or proteus soon so that I can blitz sites like you P

Blitzing is the only way to run sites Cool
btw, i'll be uploading videos on the higher end DED sites when i find the time
you ever try low-sec exploration?

My experiences in low sec hasn't been very pleasant since I always get blown up by pirates
and gate camps so I'm staying out of there for the time being. However I know the rewards in
low-sec are much higher than that of high-sec but so are the risks, I'm not too sure on how
to find a way around pirates who have more experience and higher sp than myself.

I currently do high-sec exploration in an AF, think I could slap on a cloak and try low-sec?

IMHO the rewards are barely higher, but the risk is exponentially greater.

An AF, cloaky or not, isn't going to any of the combat sites in a reasonable amount of time (It could probably handle Prov. Outposts, but not much else). They can run the Radars/Mags, but you may as well use a T1 Cruiser for that.

What dearest Mi♥ is trying to say here, is that the RnG is standing all smug in the doorway, glaring disdainfully at you while you writhe on the floor in drug induced nightmares. Then, just before you plan to run away from it all, they slip you a fix, just enough to keep you hooked and hopeful for the next hit, only for the cycle to repeat. You find yourself in some filthy shower, hugging your legs, knees under your chin, shivering in the dark, clutching only Overseers Personal Effects in your hand.

I know that feeling bro, I've also been scanning the past month but the most I got was a t2 implant which I had to compete with a tengu pilot(he warped in just as I cleared the first room). Last night when I got the first deadspace shield I had to double and triple check the zeros to ensure that my eyes were not deceiving me, I really went OMGWTFBBQ since I've only made like 700mill since I just started playing eve(which was about 5? months ago).

So after the first epic loot, I decided "Eh, why the hell not do one more before I go to bed", mind you I had an exam the next morning Lol.

So I decided to scan the next system and the next thing I know, the exact same complex appeared on scan and I thought "Holy ****, no freaking way". So I swapped out my ishkur for my myr and I decided to check it out to see if there was anyone doing it as the system was quite populated, lo and behold there was no one. I even managed to clear both rooms taking my own sweet time and when the second deadspace loot dropped I just lost it.

So yeah, I'm pretty much stoked still

I have noticed I regularly get terribad drops doing 8/10 and 10/10s.
Get only the overseer affects. I would say less than 30% of the time I get something worth being excited about. Rest of the time its like some ammo and an overseers

I logged in the other day, went 2 jumps, found a 10/10, ran it in ~20 minutes and got a vindicator bpc.

Thus, the 10/10 drops a vindicator bpc 100% of the time.

U jelly?
