I am not sure about this. Ishkur pilot has to learn the Assault Ships to V to get that spare flight. Since T1 is not that specialized or powerful it might end up with just 25/25 and Ishkur's bonus to drone hp.

Or maybe Ishkur gets reworked too.

I'm imagining a smaller bonus than the standard drone bonus, or instead only room for 4 drones.

They get a ore hold the size of a jet can, they can über AFK mine now without botting...

As for the drone boats, 1 flight of 5 lights would be plenty for a T1 frig, its what the Ishkur gets...
And the Ishkur doesn't even get a drone damage bonus (just HP).
Maybe even a bandwidth of only 15 (like the current imicus), then you can put a damage bonus on them.

Hopefully they get rid of that stupid 5% to drone control range bonus on the imicus.
What a stupid bonus:
"Base" drone control range for T2 drones: 45km (up to 60km with ewar drone interfacing)
Base targetting range of the hull... 35km....
What the heck am I supposed to do with its drone control range of 75km (relevant skills at lvl 5), when I can only get 35*1.25*1.1 = 48.1 km targetting range with lvl 5 skills and fleeted?
Slap on a bunch of sebo/sig amp? except I cant deploy sentries... so... wtf?
Its a bonus that would really only work on a BS hull, and it would be a pretty bad bonus at that...

Hopefully the Navitas gets PG/CPU/more slots on top of this to actually be useful.

That's a Templar, an Amarr fighter used by carriers.

The Tormentor got a pretty big CPU / PG Buff compared to before.

Like others, I'm a little worried about how this will effect the ishkur. They need to review the tech 2 drone specialist before they start slapping powerful bonuses onto frigs.

This is great, as long as the ship bonuses stand the test of max skills. Unlike, for example, the Imicus, where its current ship bonus of drone range becomes irrrelevant with higher skill levels due to the imicus's low targetting range.

Hey, remember when they redid the Merlin and it obsoleted the Harpy?
Yeah, me neither.

The proposed Navitas will in all likelihood have harder fitting, fewer slots and generally lower EHP/DPS. The Ishkur will maintain the same role all other AFs do: a pricier upgrade for those who really need to squeeze that extra bit of performance out of their frigates.
The Navitas will most likely be just another option for T1 frigate users who'd rather put their emphasis on drones than guns or missiles.
