Vespa EC-600 purpose?

I seen someone using one in a loadout with their Dom. What does this drone actually do?

It's an ECM drone. It has a chance of making your opponent unable to target anyone

Purpose of an EC-600:

Scenario 1: You are getting your arse handed to you by (insert subcap). Launch ECM drones, drones jam up aggressing ship, you get out singing praises of ECM drones.

Scenario 2: You are attacking a ship and they drop ECM drones, they have little effect until your target is in half structure when you get jammed by the ECM drones allowing your target to warp away. You bemoan how ECM drones are overpowered and need to be nerf batted into the ground.

Though ECM drones can be useful in large numbers against logi Smile.

No No. It must have the bay filled with mining drones only. It must get the highest yield possible.

Now that recall exploit is fixed, your hulk will be long gone by the time a jam cycle gets through. You're more likely to kill that catalyst with 5 hammerheads before jamming it with 5 ecm 600s.

This.......and to roundly irritate the hell out of whoever your BC happens to be pwning at the moment ;)

Found ECM drones work to good effect on a typical 220 AC cane w/ neuts. Can really give em hell while they're locked down.

Well, if it takes 20+ seconds to ECM cycle to go through then why bother with EC 600s?
