It isnt a well reason argument though.

Listing kill stats even when the Goons have larger losses but insiginificant to them neither proves or dissproves anything in terms of the tear saturation levels.

You could argue the loss from a notable enemy as opposed to a respected one despite abilities might be more "epeen hurtfull" than anything else, it is entirely subjective based on the individuals concerned and the circumstances associted with it.

So trying to make a science out of tears collection in this way is merely conjecture as a result. That obviously applies to both sides of the argument.

Far more relevant, is the "Beat on worthless Goon Vermin" train had hardly started rolling when The First Goon put a stop to it.

My whole point here is, where is the evidence that Goons wanted to stop the free forever war they got in on?

I'm sure it's silly of me to ask for, but I'd like only constructive posts in here. Both from Goons and non-goons.

Can you show me the original source for that chart? If I'm mistaken then I'll check it and retract that evidence.

Check other wars in game, breaks down the numbers. You can check the numbers by aggressor or defender to see the wording is a bit misleading.

Corp -> Wars -> All Wars -> goonswarm in the search box -> double click a war

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Okay, thanks for pointing this out, I'll adjust my OP to reflect this.

Goons pretty much cry constantly, from what I've seen they whine more than all of the rest of EVE put together.

I always get the impression in their posts that they are desperately holding back a wave of salty eye droppings, all the while lashing out with every 'trendy' web phrase that their betters got bored of 5 years ago, sniveling into the tangled claggy back hair of whatever hambeast made the mistake of signing up to that online dating site the other day.

Of course I jest, but they really do whine, stamp their feet, spit their dummies out, slap their own face, fall out of their prams, twist their nuts and **** their diapers almost by the minute. Big smile

How can you get tone out of words? Do you have any hard evidence of these tears?

Actually, its really easy to get tone from worded sentances or phrases, its all about context and comparing whats been written to something you would write. For example:

Carebear Pilot 1 : Hey I got an awesome little system in null.
Carebear Pilot 2 : Yeah right, bet you're right at home there aint ya.

Can you see the sarcasm? Its easy to link a sarcastic sentance to a sarcastic tone, you even read 'Carebear pilot 2's' reply in your head in a sarcastic way without even thinking about it.

Minds are clever things, we can discern tone from almost every method of communication there is. Doesn't take a lot of effort. Blink

Okay, you've got me there. But can you show me the posts where you got "Goon Tears" from?

I dont think I have a desire to crash the website by making that many 'quotes' in one post. Roll

But seriously, they are uncountable. Almost every 'anti-goon' or 'post that does not fit goon culture/internet image/perceived coolness' is always dogpiled by random and not so random Goonswarm members, often with posts that make a six word sentance look like an epic novel.

I notice that they tend to go instantly defensive in these situations and try to derail any post they don't agree with or just spam the heck out of it with useless non-sentances until everyone involved is whipped into a frenzy of random posting until the mods lock it.

I perceive instant defending of a subject, almost blindly and without thinking as a sign of 'tears', yet they always shout about not caring and htfu etc. Well, if they didnt care they wouldn't post so much. I actually think they care too much about everything and if you read even their trolliest posts, you can kinda see it. Ugh

So you're implying that by simply posting that Goons are whining? That doesn't sound right.

Perhaps you haven't been around very long, or perhaps you don't frequent many other parts of the forum than GD, but you are terribly mistaken. There are certainly members of GS that behave less than prudently on the forums, but that is not to say that all of them behave in such a fashion.

If you had bothered to do even the tiniest bit of research you would realise that, for the most part, the GS have made invaluable contributions to this game. Granted there have been some rather major and well publicised negative events involving GS members, but that should in no way over shadow the positive aspects of having GS around.

Back in 2004-right through until the arrival of GS we were lumbered with an Alliance that was of the same relative size and power as GS, but who did little to bring about changes that would be of benefit to the masses. GS have, to the annoyance of some, brought about some very good changes to the game, prominent amongst those being the nerfing of Titans, and more recently their requests for Technetium to be redistributed more fairly.

The majority of people crying on these forums are not members of GS, but rather those who have little to no understanding of GS, nor of their intentions, even those these intentions should be clear to most by now. Most of the GS members I see "crying" on the forums are actually being ironic, sarcastic or just plain in your face trolling, the laughable thing is that people seem to believe that they really are crying.

What is actually happening is that people like you are jumping on the "hate them cos they're bigger than us, wah wah wah" bandwagon, while taking absolutely no time or effort to take a look at things for yourselves. I suggest you go and educate yourself on the "facts" lest you appear more foolish than you already do.
