I keep having the same idea, or multiple thoughts at least, that end up at the same place:

You're trying to reinvent the wheel
You're trying to put a race car on a truck frame
You're trying to fit a square peg into a round hole
Etc.
Etc.

Just fit up a Tengu and fly it for a couple weeks. It is by far NOT the ugliest ship in the game, but it IS the best at exploration.

There are only a handful of pretty ships anyways Big smile

unless your scanning skills are utter sh1t, an ishtar scans perfectly fine.

IMO it is absolutely the best all in one exploration ship. The tengu is good, but is still not as versatile as an ishtar. I can fit all the exploration mods I might need, salvagers etc and go to town, without needing to stop and refit. And none of it hurts my DPS.

All skills at 4, you can also get some cheapish scanning implants, use sister's probes and a sister's launcher and you'll be fine. Prob don't even need the implants.
