Bit of a noob question here, is it possible for probes to be stolen or destroyed?

Had 7 probes out and I left em round a site that I had scanned down and when I came back to my scanner overview they were gone, I tried reconnecting but no luck :(.

My first incursion into wormholes seems to have gone **** up already heh.

probes hav a one hour timer but other than that they cannot be destroyed

Thanks, well I guess time flies when you are clearing sites, damnit gonna have to self destruct.

Another question, is it possible to get out of a WH with one probe? lol.

You could post the Jnumber here and HOPE someone who reads the bored and is nice enough to lead you out does so in the next week or two. Worst case scenario is you get shot down, if you're considering self destructing it doesn't seem like a bad alternative.

Oh, and no. You're not going to scan yourself out with 1 probe.

Yeah its worth a shot, might do sites in the meantime so I have loot for payment, although someone seems to be living in this WH as I have seen some player owned customs offices so I might ask them very nicely first.

Try asking them nicely before you run their sites on them, they may respond badly if you take their cream and ask for a bowl to go with it. :)

Do systems with less planets get less anom spawns? Or is it completely random as i have been in some systems with 6 planets and they had plenty of sites up.

Also is it true that once a site is done in one part of a region it spawns in another system in the same region?

Sorry for the myths but help end our drunken TS argument please.

If a system hasn't had it's anom's or sig's done over a period of time (whether thru occupier neglect or an empty system), there will gradually be an abundance that will spawn. It has nothing to do with how many planets there are in system AFAIK.

There have been numerous debates on this very topic ever since Apocrypha. Short of parking an alt in every system in a region/constellation, with all of them logged on at the same time, it will probably be very difficult to prove/disprove this theory. (Actually, I think I heard of some peeps trying this, but unable to come to a solid conclusion???)

My advice.....

go grab some beer and your favorite liquor.......and continue to enjoy your drunken TS LolLolLol

Yep, would need 2500 eve players to do any even vaguely conclusive resarch.

The number of anomalies or other sites doesn't depend on the number of planets. If I'm right (please correct me if I'm wrong), every constellation has a fix amount of sites, and these sites spawning and despawning in the systems of the same constellation.
Good evidence to my theory: at weekends, when the player activity is more significant than weekdays, many times we experiencing a faster anomaly and site spawn rate.
