Why are 90% of the clothes listed in the market not available... Like the Men's 'Commando' Pants (black). All you can get is the (black wax)...

Because thousands of nerds from all over the world shot a virtual space monument in protest, and unsubbed.

CCP shat themselves and pulled the plug on any WiS related items.

That's kind of pointless though. The **** already exists. It's already in game and everything is there. All it needs is added to the nex...

1) present semi-ugly clothing cost about $10-40 apiece in aurum equivalent and most likely was a first step of "boiling frogs" strategy e.g. it should prepare players for more expensive and more attractive clothing - which you can see unavailable in the market;

2) after monoclegeddon NeX most likely became taboo for CCP thus already developed clothing didn't make it to TQ client because

3) implementation of more expensive clothing may spark yet another monoclegeddon and players exodus and

3.1) fact CCP doesn't want to allow players to buy this clothing for like 1-2k aurum can be interpreted as CCP management has no clues what to do with Incarna and WiS or still believe in "greed is good" bullcrap and simply cannot let it go for 1-2k aurums.

CCP made pants mandatory. At the same time, the Gallente Federation is butthurt about the use of Matari children in the production of pants. Something about terrible hours and risk of losing fingers, if I remember right.

This has naturally led to a cluster-wide shortage of pants.

Having it exist in name, and exist where you can wear it mix and match is two different things. But there are people working on it slowly but surely.

You should try the test server, it has been seeded there for over a year now.

CCP wants to charge real world prices for virtual clothes. That is one of the reasons NEX is bad. Second, when all the people complained, CCP basically gave up on NEX. So now we have another aspect of the game that sits and does nothing for anyone. With their lack of WIS development, there is no reason for players to even buy NEX clothing.

It's all in there; it's all finished; it's just not published.

The plan was to roll new items out every couple of weeks by flipping a switch on the server and update our bulk data, but the marketing guy who suggested a slow roll-out so the stupid consumers wouldn't blow their wad on the first day and instead come back for a bit more every time something new was available accidentally fell off a ferry to Greenland…

As it was said back in they day the *overpriced* virtual items it's a relative word when it comes to EVE specific economy.

You can say 80 euro or dollar for a virtual monocle it's expensive, still for a large part of the players it's just a couple days of playing, and no real money involved.

If CCP never allowed to trade GTC/PLEX for ingame money in the whole EVE history, the Nex items would be more similar to other games and this *rage* would never happened.
But then EVE would be a different game than the one we know.

P.S: i want one of those Black plate monocles since i saw them on SISI back in the day Big smile

Well it would seem they are moving towards *actual* microtransactions now. Now if only we could have some people around to show our "Estamel's Modified Ray Bans" to.

As long as the micro transactions are for just useless for show items, I'm all for it. I'd like to have more clothes to chose from. Pants, too, because the ones in game atm kinda suck. And there are none that really go with Sterling shirts...
