An inevitable and amusing twist on an all too common story. +1 to you sir.

If you want to boost safely, do the following:

1. Stay at least 10 jumps away from the nearest trade hub. Most gankers don't roam very far (3-6 jumps) from these hubs as AFK boosters generally tend to stay close to hubs.

2. Boost in isolated systems where very little to almost no one visits. They are plentiful. You just need to look for them.

3. Stay aware from systems next door to low-sec systems unless that patch of low-sec is not so popular for a variety of reasons.

4. Never fit anything more expensive than a T2 mod. Avoid T2 rigs as well. Expensive mods are attractive to profit-driven gankers.

5. Tanking a Claymore can discourage most gankers who are too cheap to either attack with a more expensive ship or too cheap to share the wealth with a partner if they are profit driven. A Claymore can tank up to 30,000 EHP if fitted and fleeted properly.

6. Strategize. Plan for the worse. Assume that somehow, someone will find you and try to gank you.

7. Be nomadic. A target that keeps moving is a target not worth chasing if the gankers are only concerned with cornering a local market. This plan can fail, however, if the target is hated enough by the gankers that it makes it worth it for the gankers to chase said target. You had to have pissed them off enough times for this to happen.

8. Don't give out any tears. Gankers thrive on your hatred towards them. Ranting and raging will only serve to make you a more juicy target to go after.

9. Study the gankers. If they make it a habit to study their prey, then you should make it a habit to study the gankers so that you know when to make your escape if you find yourself having to move out. There are tens thousands of systems to hide in. Use them.

I know its a troll but for the n00bs who read it and dont realize that...

1. HiSec is not "safe" it never was never will be
2. Command ships have big sig radius = easy to scan down
3. If you want to protect your frigging booster command ship.... PUT IT IN A POS!

And most of all

bitching about command ship tank... WHEN YOU FIT NO F*CKING TANK! Is idiotic!

Really ?

You are complaining that you failed to put any kind of a tank on your ship ?

hisec is safe and my clamore was not in combat why would i tank it and lose boosting? im using ship to its maximum ability is that so bad??

But you were already said you where PvPing in High-sec so you were in combat.
Yes you were ganked by 3 ships or whatever but that is no different then someone coming through a gate in Null and getting ganked on the gate.

You already admitted you where PvPing what did you think would happen ?

You know you aren't doing very well with this by the way.

if you're going to be this obvious - then you need to stop trolling. You're not that good at it.

And, if you aren't trolling (hard to believe) and really are as naive as you are maiking out to be, the you have not done any amount of reading at all about this game. If you hadd, you would know that consent is not needed for PVP in Eve - not will it ever be.

30K???

How about 120K?
I used to fly a Claymore in null with a shield buffer tank, 3 skirmish links, and 5 medium autocannons.
520DPS pre-heat with drones allows you to tank, boost, and mix it up right alongside the attack ships.

I loved flying my Claymore.
Unfortunately, you are a popular target in combat, so best to have logi about.

So you provoked several players and they obviously knew you were boosting otherwise they wouldn't have had to scan you down.
And you got suicide ganked for it.
I would love to see the killmail on that.

And I still don't see what your complaint is ?

Do you want them to change the mechanic for remote boosting so that they wouldn't have had to lose there ships to kill you ?
Cause if anything that is the real problem here.
They shouldn't have had to gank you, they should have been able to kill you straight out for remote boosting.

A Claymore is a Minmatar Command ship, used by AFK boosters.

I hear they do not tank very well.

BRB need a big glass of Dr. Pepper.

Anyone got anymore?
