Ok here we go:

t3 = not much PvE action is it?
PI = nice way to make some isk. Not much action in that.
Incursions = ok i'll give some credits for that. Not bad
Walkin in station = PvE content?
New missions? = most missions offered are the same as 6 years ago
In game agend finder = only improved in 6 years. Not really PvE action
Agent revamp? yes to clear mission hubs
Noctis = ok great ship !!!
Wormholes? = was fun a couple of times
Factional War = countless treats of complains.

yes it is true that the last few expansions have done more for pve then pvp. however pve needs way more attention like 100% more content. and as far as pvp needing attention. lolz dont make me laugh. the universe could use a expansion like 25-50%

OP is right... the mission system needs to be brought up to date. Just not in the winter expansion. Maybe step by step over the next several expansions.

The way I envision it is creating "incursion style" variations of the existing missions with a "random mutation" factor. Some parts of the mission would be different every single time anybody does the mission, meaning nobody ever gets the exact same mission twice. The mutations could be random, or they could make sure that better ships/fittings/pilots have a more challenging mission and better income (also would allow missions to scale to fleet sizes.) Either way, mission mutation + incursion AI would add a lot of longevity to existing missions, and if done right, make it easy to add new content without a lot of dev time.

Of course, it should be a gradual implementation... start with one lvl 1 agent per faction switched to incursion agents, get feedback, and work up from there... done over the course of 2-3 years before all the lvl 4 agents are completely replaced.

I could also picture courier missions adding combat ambushes, and mining missions paying as much as actual mining.

But no, none of this should be done in Winter. For it to be done right, and to make EVE PVE a viable long term game, it needs some long term development.

Random thoughts: How cool would it be if at some point you kill a faction spawn, get a faction mod, from then on you start to regularly encounter the NPC you looted it from as he constantly tries to get it back... your own NPC arch nemesis. Or a salvage thief shows up in a frig, so the mission's frigs peel off or new ones spawn and start hunting him as a more viable target for their weapon systems (and yes, he should be able to successfully fight them off.) Or a mission where the goal is to muscle through a constantly respawning meat grinder (should you use a frig, or a battleship?) Or in Worlds Collide, you can get the two pirate factions to start fighting each other. Or you take a Thanatos into a mission, so it spawns a dread.

EVE's PVE has so much potential to be interesting and engaging, if it weren't just "fly here, kill that, dock, get a new mission, repeat ad nauseum."

That's owing more to CCP banning them from entering, rather than a lack of PVP in high sec. If it were possible to use one, you can bet your ass they'd be there camping Jita 4-4.

It's a sad day when Tyrannis can be reffered to as a PvE Expansion.

There isn't really such a bright line between PvE features and PvP features IMO. For example, wormholes enhanced both. Anything that draws more players into hostile territory aids PvP. Probably the best thing that could happen for PvP would be improvements in PvE content in low sec, npc null sec and wormholes that would draw more pilots into those areas. In my view, anything you do outside of hi sec or safe alliance 0.0 is pvp. Driving more players into those systems should be the top goal on the pvp front IMO.

I can never understand why people want more pve.

Pve is the time sink. If you want that, go play Civ or something, EvE is supposed to be an MMO, as such, if you don't want to interact, don't play it.

If anything CCP has been pandering to the PvE crowd (lists above) and here we are now with an over protected 'safe space' mentality, the wawa cry cry Motsu mentality, and a general lack of backbone.

Though I do agree that there have been much pve addition and revamp in the late patches. I guess it's just easier for CCP to reach out the low hanging fruit than to rebalance some of the pvp suff

I know that with a lot of different people you have a lot of different playing styles here in eve.
A lot of people complain about PvP. And they have a right to complain and i dont argue about that.
A lot of people dont complain about missions cause they use them to finance a PvP toon.

At this moment i play solo and when you play solo you need to have content.
I would like to see fast changing content. Content that does make you stick for a while.
Fast in and out high speed missions, NPC bounty hunting missions, cov ops missions or other stuff like that.
Make arenas like DED space where you fight for the honour and glory instead of the faction loot.
Make an ingame killboard for the best fighters so you would have a PvE challenge
Do something about the anonymous red crosses we shoot know.
Be creative CCP.

Shure when you're new in eve there is lot to do and everything is fresh.
But older players must confess that the rate of changes and content is slow.
Lots of people here still play eve because they got friends here and they get attached to there caracter but
do they stick for the fresh content presented every time?

Dont get me wrong i like EVE but i would like to see things change a bit more often.

O and i did not speak about things changing for the winter expension as mentioned above
