So that is it - Incarna is a bust.

So I take it from CCP Hellmar and CCP Zulu's blogs that is it. Incarna is a bust. We'll get the 4 CQ's and that will be that. No WiS. No player ran establishments(that we were told were actually almost ready for launch). The NEX is worthless than. It's worthless because what purpose could it possibly have for selling avatar items if I the player of the avatar is the only one that can see the clothes?

Once again CCP proves they cannot launch an expansion and see it to its end without changing directions. Good job!

Incarna will come. Only later.

The players didn't like the last expansion and let CCP feel that.
In response to that they have changed their plans and are focusing more on what many of the players want. And for now that's some improvements to the space part of the game. And that's exactly what we are getting now.

The Incarna expansion was kind of a fail, but it also reminded CCP that it's still us who pay the bills. And i personally find that to be a great success.

Incarna would have been a total fail if the HADN'T changed directions after it. So get a life and give them a shot at making things better again! Thank you!

When it was released, it was and still is incomplete.

I totally admit PCU went down, but still seriously doubt EvE is dying. It was back up to 44-46k the last couple weekends, and A lot of days the PCU = that of 365 days earlier.

The truth is, its not over till the fat lady sings. If they put more of the content in before the winter expansion and subscriptions remain constant or better, its certainly no bust.

It's no bust. CCP has stated previously that they only intended on releasing a small portion at first to test and optimize it before rolling out more. This last fiasco has CCP reshuffling their rollout order. WiS just got moved down the list a bit, I'm sure.

CCP could do worse than take a "we'll release it once it's done" view. Do you honestly think a standard home computer could run a multi-avatar environment, based on the current CQ?

I personally think that they will be giving Incarna more time.

It got released and now they will be refocussing most of their development work to FiS but I doubt they will leave INcarna at the unfinished state. They will return to it once the "playerbase" calmed down enough to not cry "faul" when they develope WiS further

They never said they were stopping development on incarna. the stupid is strong with the op.

They are going to fix the spaceships portion first and give balance and make people happy, then they will come back to incarna.


Why Can't I have a picture signature.

Also please support graphical immersion, bring back the art that brought people to EvE online originaly.

lemme esplain why:
1. someone who is playing a spaceship game, and is ragequitting becouse there is no NONE spaceship content
2. someone that dumb to not realise that WiS was just delayed until everything with FiS is fixed

Although I am all for WiS, it comes in way, WAY down on my wishlist.
First is FiS and everything associated with that. That's what Eve is, FiS, it's why I started playing it and why I still play it.
If people want to play dress-up and go walkabout with their pets, try a different game, like *spit* SIMS

you're reading comprehension is terrible. go read books and stop playing games for a while. Establishments are coming, but you have to do something called waiting. go play WOT meanwhile and go bother that community then when avatars in bars comes, you can come back and be fulfilled in your life.

CCP released devblogs outlining future development squarely centred around Incarna.

Ever since, there has been widespread player outrage, begging CCP to change direction.

The CSM begged CCP to change direction.

CCP eventually changed direction.

There has been widespread jubilation all around.
