hi, trying to perfect the art of system scanning and then using D-scan and Map view to scan anoms that appear in on the Map, seems it doesnt quite work any suggestions?

I used to be able to system scan then use map view with D-scan to scan anoms that appeared but t seems that when i move map my view in Map it doesnt quite happen in normal hud view.

I had a bit of a hard time understanding this post, I'm not trying to be rude when I say that, I'm just explaining why I'm going to need clarification.

Are you trying to use probes to scan for anoms, and you're having a hard time manipulating them on the map, or are you genuinely using D-Scan?

You don't use directional scanner to scan for anomalies and signatures.
Anomalies can be found by your on board scanner ( that is not d-scan ) or by probes.
Signatures can only be located by probes.

Also rewrite your post because it is impossible to understand what you want to do exactly.Blink

@ degren, tomcio:
1. use system scanner to scan for anomalies
2. use d-scan while having the solar system map open to locate the anomaly your prey is hiding in.

@ op:
this used to work for me. will try if it still does tonight.

^ this

I could system scan, choose a anom near me in map view and whilst having map view open aim at anom with D-scan at like 30 degree to scan it.

Doesn't seem to work anymore since aiming the d-scan in map view isnt actually where you are aiming in normal hud view and hence you can not warp to the anom.

Makes hunting in anoms very difficult and leaves the only tactic i know of, log off at one LAME. I wonder if null sec ally still claim that null sec is a risky business...

We pretty much make fun of people that die in anoms.

Even ourselves.
