I, too, am in a state of shock and disappointment that I can now fly all the Command Ships. Truely this was the worst thing that has ever happened to me in EVE.

I, too, used 36 days to get those skills to level 5 and I could go with:

"Whine, whine, CCP forced me to train these useless skills whine, whine"

Good news they're not doing this soon, instead of unlocking 3 Command Ships I'll probably get all 4 !!

Well same here, 4 races but 8 CS and every single T2/T3 ship, get bored in game with all these options it's clearly impossible Lol

They stated all along that it was likely to be some time out and they would provide plenty of notice before the change. I'm a fairly new player and after toying with the idea of skilling it up now, decided to hold off until they announced the impending change. Don't be mad at them for your fear.

Thing is that you better do it ASAP, when blog comes out you can expect stuff to hit TQ about 2.5months later and with only 2.5Mth you can't do it, so go ahead and never look back.

Cruiser V and BC V are the best "Bang per SP" skills that you can train for.

Cruisers open a whole lot more range of advanced ships than any other classes in the game.

Cruisers:
Heavy Assault Ships
Heavy Interdictors
Logistics
Recon
Strategic

Battlecruisers is an awesome skill to have, leveling this sucker to V gives you the best boost for 4 Awesome Tier 2 Battlecruisers and 4 Stunning Tier 3 Battlecruisers. Not to mention Command ships are not to far away.

BC and Cruisers uses pretty much the same skill sets and modules.

By the time CCP puts the changes through I will be able to fly every type of Ships listed above.

I do hope CCP does something for the destroyer class, unlike Battlecruisers destroyers only have 1 destroyer per race and all the interdictors except the sabre are crap.

Both BC V and Destroyer V are great skills. You'd have to be a total shitlord to complain about them.

Wasn't complaining at the actual skills, of course they're nice to have. My point was in the statements regarding the new skill tree I would guess alot of people suddenly dropped skill X and began on getting as many cruisers to 5 as possible.

They did this thinking they had quite a limited time in which to do so.

This was not the case and the point for this post.

Its called jumping to conclusions based upon vague information.
Or if you are a "glass is half full" type of person; Its called playing it safe and training up now.

Forcasting game changes at CCP is not unlike forcasting the weather. Sometimes there is a lot of talk and nothing really happens, and sometimes there is barely a wisper and suddenly you are dumped on.
Complaining about this is not unlike complaining to the weatherman.

Keeps things interesting.

Black Ops 5 is very nice but I have no use for that [yet]
