Very few people wanted this specific change. In fact this change is the one potential change that was least supported by the CSM and is generally not particularly satisfactory. However this change is significantly better than no change at all because the current ally system is incredibly broken.

GOONs are still butt hurt over the ally system cause someone said hey GOONs wardec us and we made it mutual you want to shot them click the ally button.

goes to show how much the universe hates the GOONs and their pets. sad that the DEV knew this would happen and no idea it would be GOON. WE DID!
