Gravity lies a lot.

Yes, of course. Going commando means exactly to go out without a bra.

Going commando for a woman would require both the absence of bra and panties, naturally.

Mere absence of a bra is called going awesome.

Since I was very young I decided to never wear bras because they are nothing more than a male created form of sexual repression. They actually increase the risk of breast cancer and they weaken your cooper's ligaments.
So no..

I don't wear bras.

I thought going commando was no underwear/panties and wasn't specifically bra related. So if a woman still has panties on, I'd say no.

as good as not wearing a bra is for viewing pleasure, please ladies keep them off so you don't sag at age 30 ;[

actually that is a myth.

What happens is, if you use a bra at all or simply don't stay in shape/eat right the ligaments which are like shock absorbers become misaligned and weak. This results in sagging.

Sagging should only happen once a month due to excess water retention as well as a few other factors. If you never wear a bra, eat right and make sure to stay in shape then you will not sage.

no, I wouldn't say going without a bra is the same as going commando.
going with a bra, but without panties on the other hand, is going commando.

I guess mainly because there are dresses and outfits that look better without a bra... or have the functionality of a bra sewn into them. but wearing them is not the same as going commando...

I know some don't like the visible panty line, but I'm good with it.

As for bras - nah, not relevant to that term...don't even believe it's a female term, just a guy term for guys who need to use military-sounding terminology for everything in their lives due to feeling uncomfortable about using real words and descriptions.

I mean...it's not like their is a military line of men somewhere in the 'states full of Commando applicants, and one by one they get inspected for underwear, and if they are found to be wearing tighty-whities, then they can't join up and play with the rest of the men, is it?

Language is weird, anyone know the etymology of this phrase?
