OP, tank the ever-loving crap out of your Mack, then load your hard-earned Blue Ice in a T1 hauler and fly it through the Uedama/Sivala pipe please.

LOLing at Mocam, Suddenly Violence would like to have a word with you friend. You guys at E Uni shouldn't be spreading bad info like that man.

TBH I had the best PvP fight I have ever had in eve with one of your guys about 18-20 months ago. I lost a buffer typhoon, but it was a fight to the hull where we both had a neutral RR. Imagine my delight when I got revenge inadvertently a couple weeks ago by putting a tank on my mackinaw and going AFk, and coming back to 2 Tears battleship wrecks.

To OP, you can tank against gankers, but you cant tank against a large gang of gankers. Just mine other ice for now, or tank them once and then leave before they return with more alpha.

Why would he mine other ices that are worthless?Roll

Spawn concord with alt.

Yes, that is what goons do right before ganking so as to clear the belt of any CONCORD spawns. What is your point?

It's tricky, visible, to clear, especially with simultaneous spawns. Respawn with as little as a noob ship is far easier than to clear. Coupled with insured Covetor, making alpha BS costly and ineffective for miners fetching a new barge a matter of seconds later. Post less, undock more, and you'll see what's actually going on. Goons have already given up on much of it. Unfortunately, this also means prices fell like a rock and it's no longer worth the effort to mine.

You both seem to be of the false impression that the majority of the barges we're ganking are actually piloted by human beings at their keyboards and paying attention. The overwhelming majority are either AFK players who alt-tab out of EVE to let their ice miner cycle run, or, much more frequently, bots that will continue to try to mine even after the barge has been destroyed. There have been numerous instances where pods will warp into belt, approach ice, sit there for a long time, warp back to the station, and then return and repeat the process for hours. I am willing to guess that those pods are not piloted by human beings who have suddenly taken a keen interest in looking at the pretty ice crystal graphics for several hours. While the advice you're giving, that the miner himself can just spawn CONCORD as soon as he sees the present CONCORD spawn disappear, is accurate, it is not at all applicable to the majority of our targets since they—being bots—are incapable of reacting to the situation quickly enough.

I'm guessing its not bots bitching on the forums tho.

It's not been posted here that the intent of the operation is to crash the eve economy, but its been posted elsewhere.

On a personal level, I think that's quite ****** TBH. HOWEVER, if killing ONLY BOTS can kill the economy, it's a problem CCP needs to get under control ******* NOW.

If its not bots dying and CCP cared about the game as much as they say they do they would enact the "we can perm ban anyone anytime for any reason" and ban your alliance. If deliberately trying to destroy the game isn't reason enough, they should just pull the pug now, as they also have the right to do.

This deserves its own thread TBH.

With most goons being noobs, I would imagine you won't know this... But botting macros can be easily adapted to spawn concord repeatedly with alt. What you're popping are the lazy miners, not bots. Bots are the ones operating under perma-concorded fields, who also instantly warp pod back to station on popping to auto fetch another covetor.

With oxytope prices felling below 400, the alert miners that came up with this in the first place, aka, other carebears who started mining ice briefly when prices spiked, have largely went home. It's mostly bots left still running this scheme.
