From the mineral price graph in http://community.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&nbid=72833 I originally thought that ships then should start falling but when I see minerals being mined is actually down ( or top o the remove of drone poop ) it seems something else must be happening.
The first thing that popped into my head is that the speculators are releasing their hoards... but after awhile my next line of thought is maybe the prices are down because people are just holding off on building now becuase oft he high material spikes. Well is there any indications either way?

Supply has increased due to lower mineral prices.

There is no shortage of minerals, so many are stockpiled. The large increase in prices are due to speculation, it may rebound a bit but will wont reach that high again this year, and will continue to drop because of summer. We wont be seeing prices at this level unless another change to the game that tricks the masses into thinking there is going to be a shortage of a commodity.

i realized a falling prices too .... expecially the drone ships that was good suited combined with "drone damage augmentors"

but when i startet to look arround for a T3 i saw that their prices also dropping like HELL!

The Tengu (wich is over 50% of every T3 in new EDEN)
and mostly used for Carebearing.

It could be a late chainreaction between speculating in market, overproduktion, panic-sellout, ore price balancing.

But i think its really rediculus that T3 are dropping so hard, cause all they need is a W-Space (best is C3 or higher).

Another Interesting thing is you can see "Panic-SELL OUT" Investers when they place a unusual high amound of modules for the lowest price (and the producer is usually outbiding them after a couple of seconds)

I saw a Tengu Sell Oder with ofer 150 Tengus! There u can see the PANIC when he realized that his investition is falling for arround 10% and its skill dropping!

(Tengu was usually arround 240m and if they sink to under 200m that Character would have lost arround 6 Billion ISK!)

But Prices usually rising soon so it's usually the worst thing to Panic Sell his Investition because the price is droppign right now!

Like the "Raven Navy" i brought it before I could fly a BS! -> That decision is usually a bad idea! But ... I made over 300 Million Profit, because when i decided nto to train for BS i sold them both for 150m profit! (accidently)

but this time seems like a good invesment time for this fall! when people don't have so much time in summer. when the prices for every thing rising.

but this is just a small ammount of isk profit,
you can get much more with the right modules! especiall outside of JITA and other "big" Tradehubs.

Flying a Freighter is common sense here to maximise the Income.

Those panic sellouts are Irresponsible T2 BPO holders, running production 100% in nulsec, with nulsec Minerals then outright dumping them onto the markets in different regions hoping no one would notice.

T2 Amarr small drones being a good example.

Once again, listen to the people saying the same thing, Summertime crash, every ones out having a good time, getting laid drunk swimming in lakes, stuff you cant do in the Wintertime.

Prices are dropping due to lack of sales.

Lack of Sales due to fleeing player base.

And the "EVE New World Gooniverse" is still only an embryo.

Are we not proud of them ?

This is also playing a role in it as well. I make my money strictly from trading and I'm starting to feel this. Part of it is Goons, most of it is summer and other games people are playing.

again part of it is goons, a very small part, and that small part was pitching in on hulkageddon. if goons didnt exist, the economy would be in the same state due to summer and other games.

suggesting that goons are driving the economy into a recession just goes to show how much of a ******* idiot you are.

Actually the lion's share of credit goes to CCP. Everyone fixated on high ends from the drone regions because that affected mining, but no one really thought about how much low ends they supplied and...well...lets just say that it was the majority of them. Summer has very little to do with it compared to that. In fact, claiming that it's summer is a bunch of disingenuous ****, because mineral prices historically tend to drop during the summer.

Hulkageddon is certainly throwing fuel on the fire and keeping it burning though (50% reduction in mining volume!), and if you think otherwise, it just goes to show how much of a ******* idiot you are.

I think more then 50% highsec mining due to hulkageddon and again, I think less then 40%/more then 30% ABC minerals from drones before the nerf.

CCP statements indicated ~40% of high ends from drones, prior to the nerf. As to hulkageddon, the last stated figure was a 47% drop in average daily mining volume for the week of may 3rd-may 10th (during hulkageddon) as compared to the week prior to the Escalation patch.

The whole "drone poo provided the majority of low ends" is an entirely different dataset, but it's that one that's really the true driver behind our little recession here. If drone poo still existed the markets would barely have noticed Hulkageddon.

Think we are talking about two separate points regarding summer...
