So is the "you are not within maximum transfer distance" even when you have parked your ass on top of your hangar/lab/dong a known bug? Googling got me a thread from a year ago, did my game just crap out or is it my POS skills?

E: no, accessing it via the tower doesn't work either. Guess I'll try from a second install.
