Are you an industrial pilot and don't need the PVP skills or knowledge.

OUCH is a training corp teaching foremost how to survive in null and low security space.
So even if you don't want to shoot other people, the skills you'll learn with us, will help you greatly while trying to survive that shortened hauling run, that goes straight through Amamake.

Join OUCH, it'll be fun :)

Quote:
what's with everyone and falcons does anybody want a straight up fight?

That was asked to us in Local last night, by a guy who deliberately came at us, looking for trouble. Let me answer it here:

No.

This is Eve and welcome to Curse.Twisted

The only people who engage in combat that don't think that they have the edge and will win, are people who have little experience in player to player combat. Experienced PvPers think they have better skills, a better ship, a better fit, or better tactics that will see them through the fight. Or they know that reinforcements are coming.

That means if you're flying a battlecruiser and your opponent is flying a frigate... and he engages you... he knows something you don't know.

Last night our frigate and cruiser fleet caught a Domi, pounded him 50 percent into armor, and yes, Virginia, he popped a cyno.

Didn't see that coming.

Titan Bridge FTW? A fleet of HACs and BCs incoming? Blackops gang? We get those once or twice a week, the students love it.

But no, Virginia, all we got was a solo Nyx. For the uninitiated, that's a supercarrier. And since our little gang didn't have the DPS for that, we let him go.

It's times like these I wish I had a Bat Phone. Cry

The irony of it is, we've seen better: PL used a Bait carrier to drop 3 Nyxs and a pair of Aeons on us few months ago.

I got that fight on Fraps, it's pretty cool. Cool

Summertime is here and so is OUCH. We've cut back on some of our mid week classes, but we're keeping most of our weekend classes on the schedule.

1800 Eve Time, Saturdays and Sundays, we're online, in game, teaching newbies how to stay alive in null.

Check out the link in the OUCH-UNI channel for more info.

They might suck at updating their recruitment thread, but their nullsec survival course works.

Classes are taught almost every Saturday and Sunday at 1800.

Yes, that's Eve time. Silly question.

Guys,
If your thinking about moving to curse. please dont join ouch first. move in and get to know the place. I feel you really need to lose some ships before joining Bren's group, It will teach you appreciation for what they do.

Besides, are you not men? Men dont read directions until after they f () ck up.

So you see this huge thread on a recruitment forum and think that this is some massive corp where you'll get lost in the crowd.
Wrong!

We're a training corporation teaching how to survive and fight in null and low security space. Each member goes through the same program and same rules, gets the same respect and attention as every other student. In each class there are generally 5-10 students and we answer to each and everyone if we need to. Once you complete the classes, you can join the pvp fleets in nullsec which rarely grow larger than 15-ish members.

We don't like Blob wars, we prefer small, smart, tactical, organized kind of fights. Where one tech1 frigate can actually change the outcome of a fight.

Join OUCH :)

Curse is not for the weak of heart. PvPers from other regions know they can find some action out here, but they roll deep when they do, because the denizen's of Curse will separate your pod from your ship faster than you can say "WTF was that?"

Mosey out to central Curse if you don't believe me. You can join OUCH after you upgrade your clone.

Just now i realised how much more there's to explore besides Hi-Sec.
OUCH practise what they preach, and that covers a lot more than just making u feel at ease when jumping through hostile environments.
Glad i signed up, because there is a ton of information you can learn from these guys.

Hope to greet you as a fellow student. o7

CCP likes to say that Eve is a Sandbox, where you can choose to do whatever you want to do. We in OUCH choose to teach people null sec survival techniques, basic PvP training and fleet operations and help people get a leg up toward the Eve career that they want to have.

All it costs is a little time and bit of patience. Smile
