UI modifications for the overview

Most players know setting up the overview is one of the most important things you can do, however going through all of the tabs and procedures to set everything just right can be annoying. The biggest problem I've found is the only way to test some changes is when you are at war, or there is an outlaw nearby, or you are engaged in the middle of a fight with people just turning hostile.

I've seen 3rd party programs that allow some ways to preview the overview but it had several limitations. An in game way to preview overview settings would be of great value.

I was thinking something similar to the fitting window that pops up and shows you the options you have to adjust your overview and then shows you what the different targets would look like.

The window would have a war target, fleet targets, hostiles, outlaws, bounties, FW.. pretty much every option you can turn on would have some way to show what it would look like and where it would fit in the priority list. I imagine there would have to be a limit to the number of active objects at one time, but even if we were limited to 10 or 12 it would still be better then what we have currently. Just being able to view incursion ships to turn them on without being in an incursion site would be huge.

Finally, once you are done modifying the overview would it be possible to make activation a one click process instead of having to activate the overview and the different tab settings as well? So I create a combat overview and a mining overview, if I want to change between them I also have to change the associated tabs if I find I need more then the five tab limit.

Simplifying the process of customizing the overview would help new people find the game less daunting as well I bet.
