The EVE community is a wonderful group of people and to show you a bit more of the amazing initiatives, projects and events organized by our players, the EVE Community team will present you a showcase of these community members and their projects. We call these presentations 'EVE Community Spotlight' and they will be published every second week.

Not sure if I did it backwards or not, really immaterial, but I played for a long time before I read any of the lore and "backstory".

I mention that to highlight this:

In the lore, there is a story of a selfless, driven individual who, in the face of all odds and logic, completed his mission with dogged determination, not for personal glory, but for the betterment of the pilot community.

He was rewarded by having a system named after him, Old Man Star.

In my own humble opinion, what Chribba has so selfishly done for the EvE community rises to this level.

Surely there is a system that can be christened as his namesake, and maybe even be somehow worked into the lore and backstory.

No, he is no God to worship, but he deserves much recognition.
