Raife Zetter - its the almost correct spelling (someone else got there first, though hasnt logged on for years..) of a character from the 'The Dark Wheel' novella that accompanied the game Elite by David Braben. He's the guy that appears to Alex Ryder as a hologram when Alex is in hospital after being rescued, and gives him information that starts off the rest of the adventure...

Because of WAR KITTENS!

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

Barbelo = a kind of "goddess" to the Gnostic "heretics" of the 1st and 2nd centuries CE

Valentinian = Valentinius was the main Gnostic "heretic" of the same period, his followers were called "Valentinians".

The combination seemed vaguely French-like so I liked it for a Gallente characer.

All my characters have some sort of variation on the theme of Gnosticism. Why? Why not?! ;)

Mine was going to be adopted, but a mis-hit on my keyboard moved it down to adopt, which was a previously entered name I had considered.

Molpadia Devaux

It goes back to the early days of Everquest. I played a bard and needed a musical name.

Molpadia means DEATHSONG. During the Amazon incursion in the Attic war, the Amazon Queen Antiope was surrounded by Atheanean King Theseus and his retainers. Injured and unable to defend herself from harm or violation, Molpadia took up her bow and killed her queen.

In Sir Walter Scott's book 'The Talisman', King Richard the Lionheart becomes ill. King Richard chose a personal friend to speak for Richard and ,by implication, rule in his name, has the same surname as myself. He is usually addressed in the book as Lord De Vaux. The family motto is 'Regi Fidelis'.

Mine is a reference to the Stillman characters in the New York Trilogy and their confused identity.

Just a random dude in Team Security.

You might want to petition a name change. Ultimately it is up to the customer support, of course, but there is a fair chance they will grant your request.

Borrowed this name from one of my older characters in Warhammer Online, actually a Dark Elf Blackguard. Original origin? Made up, not sure if it's a "real" name. Wanted to have something sporting some kind of celtic influence as well as fitting to Warhammer Fantasy's elven characters.

Do not assume anything above this line was typed by me. Nerf the Truth, it's inconvenient.

I joined this game for the pew pew. If I have to die 20 times just to kill someone of ill repute once, its worth it.

Metal = Spaceship

Icarus = Suicidal Ambition

Named after my first RPG character I created as a kid. I've used the same name whenever I create a new character since then.
