The only true PvP is done on the forums. You, sir, appear to be losing.

this just shows that this game will never become up to par with other mmo's...... pretty sad thats its pretty much pointless to spend isk and alot of time to make your ship perform to its full potential cuz some jelous assholes will just blow you up.... empire should be non pvp zone unless your at war.... i would bet 1 billion isk subscription numbers would increase by alot.

EvE would die a pretty quick death.

It wouldn't, the only thing it would do is make you cry oceans of tears because you couldn't touch his tralala, eve shouldn't be safe yadayada Lol

EvE is currently the third largest paid Western MMO on the market. One and Two are held my Blizzard and LucasFilms. They would seem to have other things going for them besides game quality. EvE doesn't.

So, then what makes EvE special? What makes it stand out from other MMOs in such a way that it gets more subs every single year?

What's different? Integrated PvP.

No, what's different is that by playing the game, you can earn isk that pays for your gametime. It's essentially a free to play model where you can keep full access unlike other FTP models. Someone is paying for your upgrade by buying a PLEX, but it's not always you. Remove PLEX, and the gameplay wouldn't hold up without really going FTP.

Ok, so it's the second biggest FTP MMO (behind Runescape) in the Western Market. That's pretty good, too.

Wut?

What dont you understand? pvpers have plenty of space to pvp in.... lowsec and 0.0.... oh and wormholes.... why cant pve'ers have a safe zone to pve?

Because PVP happens everywhere? The safezones you describe would nerf other areas of EVE to such an extent that it won't make sense to make isk elsewhere as the risk/reward ratio will be through the roof in such areas.

Let's keep it simple: no risk = no reward in EVE Online.
