Recent OS reinstall -had eve backup

I recently reinstalled windows 7 and had installed eve on a second drive so when I try to run eve on the new install it doesnt work. I checked the task manager and the program was running (evefile.exe) but the game would not show up on my screen. I reinstalled all video drivers and most other drivers I could think of but nothing worked. I ran the repair.exe file but it showed it as ok. I would like to know what I need to run the game or do I need to re download it again.

Did you reinstall the client or just try running it from the old installation?

If you just tried running it from an old installation have you navigated to the \ccp\eve\bin\directx folder and run DXsetup.exe?

Check that your working directory is right on shortcut.
