Ok so, i absolutely LOVE minmatar ships, however my main was skilling for caldari and missiles for missions and other pve stuff, however i currently have a second account training to do missions and the other stuff with my main, he is training gallente. Now so far ive heard that minmatar are really skill intensive to fly well, but if it was doing it with a dominix that would be mega tanked and take all the agro, could it be viable with T2 drones etc and a maelstrom with a full gank fit to do sufficently well in L4s without having to wait a huge amount of time to fly a maelstrom really well?

Depending on your skills with these characters, you may want to consider using the Maelstrom for tank and the Domi for gank. Shield domi's with a full rack of guns, sentry drones and the new damage mods are pretty ridiculous and will spit out way more DPS than your Maelstrom can even dream of.

I will certainly look into this setup thanks. I was thinking of how much of a difference the new drone mods would make but i never thought about tanking the maelstorm!
