And exactly why is the fit bad? No probe launcher the issue? I am assuming he has already scanned his **** down and made the appropriate bm's... It isn't a "let's hang out in w-space all day" fit, if the hole gets rolled he is obviously screwed.

firstly, it takes a significantly longer amount of time to break the tougher BSs without the last launcher. secondly, 2x invul and a shield recharger provide better tank and better cap than what you posted. thirdly, with two SPRs you will get neuted in no time and have to warp out and wait for a week to get your cap back up.

you want to drop the launcher and probes, fine. but at least get the rest of the fit straight.

I should buy an Ishtar.

Glad you are such an expert. That why you posted your fit? Wait, you didn't, until after you criticized mine. Awesome to see you are such a helpful guy.

That fit works absolutely fine for C1 and C2, exactly what the OP is looking at. How do I know? Because I have run it on many occasions. And I don't ever recall having any neuting issues running it in C2 anoms, perhaps you should skill up a tad?

Every now and then I post on the forums, forgetting about all you EFT warriors out there that know the only way to fit a ship or run a site, and will spend hours proving it. Thanks for reminding me why I hunt you guys.

Yes, if you have to ask yourself the question, just assume we are watching you...

The first thing you want to do is make sure the wormhole you are going in to is clear of any hostiles. The best way to do this is talking in local.

Say something like. "Does anyone live in here?" Or "Anyone alive out there?"

If these don't work. Post a fukung or imgur image that is both funny and witty. Anyone in local chat can not resist replying with another picture of said sites.

Second. You need to learn how to run sites and salvage at the same time. I would recommend taking that drake down one more launcher and fitting another salvager on it. That way you can just use the tractor to tractor in any wrecks and keep salvaging while you unleash a steady stream of death upon the sleepers.

Next thing to be aware of is that, while wormholes may have been empty when you first popped your head in, they will not always remain that way. So you want to talk in local about once every 30 to 45 seconds. Remember the fukung links. No self respecting eve player can look at a link without immediately browsing the site and posting another link. Just wont happen.

The final point to remember is that you must be sure to only drop off your loot when you are COMPLETELY done with all of your site running for the day. This includes multiple hole incursions as you are at your most exposed when directly on a wormhole. So you want to limit these times of vulnerability as much as possible by remaining in the anoms... where it is safe.

After you take into account all of these points, you will become spacerich in no time with the best of us.

TL:DR

Talk in local often... very often.
Salvage while you work.
Only run to jita when you absolutely have to. (The less trips the better. )
Fukung links in local will always get people to talk back to you.

So hows not the time to mention that doing the anons that pop up when you hit system scan is the best option?

Day tripping in w-space is like spelunking the jaws of a great white.

Back in the day before I lived permanently in w-space, I used to day trip. Back then you could spend hours looking for the right hole with no activity and sites to be run. You could be reasonably sure it would stay that way. That was 2 years ago. Those days are over. Even then it wasn't worth the time or effort to do it where isk is involved. If you're wanting to do it for income, don't. If you're wanting to do it to do it, go for it. But.....

W-space is familiar and sought out by people looking for kills. It's not like the old days when it was new and you stood a fair chance of surviving. You have a larger chance of being found. If you are, then you may not even see them coming even if you're hitting dscan every 2 seconds. So, make sure your exit always has eyes on it.

My suggestion is if you want to experience w-space, go live there. You'll have a better time doing so than day tripping cuz really, you'll spend most of the day if not several days looking for empty holes from k-space. Most of the lower tier systems are occupied in one fashion or the other. Anything you find from HS is most likely going to be occupied or already connected to from where the really bad mens live and used as transport routes for those systems that don't connect to k-space.

The lower tiers are already killing fields since those of us living in the higher tier holes know those are where the easy kills are and so do people in k-space. So, you can expect to get hit coming and going.

Good luck.

Go back and read what you wrote, Bernie, and then lay off the weed. P

Let a guy smoke in peace ffs he's all alone out there in his hole... I mean.. you'd be stoned out of your mind to sitting there with only sleepers to keep you company..

in my experience, this is only partly true. there is still money and relative safety to be had when daytripping, as long as you do it right. just the other day i found an uninhabited C1 with lowsec static and 20+ anoms. farmed them down in under 3 hours and left with almost 100 ribbons + sleeper poop.

I should buy an Ishtar.

don't mad bro. just because you cannot EFT does not mean that you are a failure. you should not justify your fit with being able to run C2s though, that's like claiming you are a good cook because you haven't accidentally poisoned anyone yet.

Why don't people like killing bait drakes? Afraid a horde of cloaked nearby ships will come and **** them?

But this is the exception, not the rule. One good experience through the meat grinder doesn't make it a fun ride.

Lol The OP was looking to run C1/C2 you moron so my statement is quite appropriate and pertinent. Glad to know you have "won" Eve with your "superior" EFT skills. We need more "There is only 1 single ship/fit that will every work in the necessary role" guys out there. Thanks for leading the charge...

Daytrippers are a gold mine for us but if they can be smart about it, they can make a living as well. Good for everyone to get the increased and tasty traffic...
