Well you should do 1 of 2 things.

One delete your characters which will destroy all your assets.

If you can't delete your characters then keep all your stuff as you may be back.

That's the problem right there. Get rid of the other accounts and just keep your main and maybe 1 alt account.

I highly doubt you have indulged in every type of game play content available during those 2 1/2 years, even with 5 accounts. Notice I said 'Indulge' and not just casually try something for a week and then move on to something else.

Anyway, it's always sad to see these threads.

I highly doubt you know what he has and has not tried. Within a year of playing EVE I had tried a vast amount of things and dismissed those that did not fit my needs. I think it is safe to assume that the OP has done the same.

And by the way, indulgence has nothing to do with time frame, it merely means to satisfy one's desire. And if one's desire is to merely try everything for a few weeks and see how it feels, then the OP has indeed "indulged". Perhaps next time you will assume less and ask more.

As to the OP, as many other slightly more intelligent posters have said, do not rely too heavily on CCP to provide you with content as this is not really the point of EVE, perhaps try your hand at creating something new and see how that goes.

VERY IMPORTANT EDIT: For the love of god do not give away your stuff or your ISK, ever. I left the game 10 months ago thinking I would never return, gave away al my ISK and all my ships, only to return 9 months later and instantly regret what I had done. Starting from scratch CAN be fun, but more often than not it is a gigantic pain in the ass.

I agree with DMC about the 5 accounts, was close to quitting because everything was so time intensive and EVE became more like a job than a game...

Feeling better since I stopped focusing on money and fancy ships. And if I need to replace some loses....better to spent the 15 bucks than ratting (working) for a couple of hours. Now I just log in, see if a fleet is rolling, and if not chat with my corpies :)

Indeed, but let's not encourage them by giving them any more attention. The gank thing is passe wasn't even that interesting to start with.

I've had the strange soap taste in my mouth for the last couple of hours, like I was sucking on a bar of soap or drank a little liquid soap. It's stange.

At first it was just kind of like bleh, kinda gross.

Now I'm starting to feel pretty sick. Nothing I do is getting rid of the taste. Brush my teeth, mouth wash, water, more water, 7up. Nothing.

I"m starting to wonder if the nerves responcible for my taste buds are going a little nutty. It's been raining and that has a bad habbit of playing hell on my nerves. Really hope it's not that.



So yeah, really ****** soap taste won't go away.

You will come back, keep your ISK.

You will also leave again. That's the fatal point for EVE. When people figure out they can leave for 6 months, a year and it doesn't make much difference. While I'm sure it makes a difference to CCP and their bank account, for you and me when the illusion of the 100 mill SP char is gone its never the same.
