Recently, I've taken some time for reflection and self-examination. People I care for have helped me understand that I've strayed far from my roots as a Sebiestor and as a member of Clan Truza. My past crimes and hypocritical associations have brought shame to my family and, I'll admit, to myself. I have flown with slavers and Sansha; I have trafficked in goods that hurt my people; I have killed unnecessarily and without seeking better alternatives first.

My goals haven't changed: help humanity transform into something better, tearing down the corrupt power centers that currently dominate and reforming the system. But the way I've gone about this needs to change.

So that I can find a new way forward, I will be retiring for some time to an Adakul monastery for assistance and guidance. While I will still attend to a few minor remaining business matters, in-space time will be extremely limited. I also intend to step back from the IGS as I've traditionally done, barring any matters my staff flag as requiring my attention.

At this time, I only have one capsuleer associate, known to few and even then only by his CONCORD pilot pseudonym "Rogue Integer". He will likely move on to new endeavors and I wish him the best.

I wish you good fortune.

May I ask what are these corrupt power centers you speak of ?

It's good that you reflected upon your actions. Many times it happens we do things *for the good of all* yet we actually achieve the opposite of it. There's an old saying that seems very appropriate here: *The road to hell is paved with good intentions*
Once in a while we all should stop for a while, and reflect upon what we do as there are very few truly evil people, just people who think they do good. Even Nation doesn't see itself as evil, but as a force of good, believeing they help the people, yet we can't deny that the way they do it is immoral and injustifiable.

I'm glad you've found the strength to reflect back upon your actions & take actions accordingly.

Few capsuleers are capable of admitting their poor decisions. Fewer still are capable of taking responsibility of them.

Glad to see you have started on a new path. Perhaps when you come back from your monestary you will be ready to make up for what has been done.

Light guide you.

A monastery ... we seem to have a thing or two in common, lately, Ms. Truza. ... Though it's been some time since I've seen the inside of one of those.

I wish you fortune in pursuing your goals. Periodic reform is necessary to a healthy society, to shift the static power dynamics that always seem to emerge.

... although, I hope you will not be too disappointed with the results of success, should you achieve it.

On the one hand, power blocs controlled primarily by baseliners or continuation of those traditionally controlled by them (even should a capsuleer sit at their controls now) have been eaten away by corruption, seeking only to preserve and grow their own power rather than advance the interests of humanity. This refers primarily to the four primary nations in New Eden. On the other hand, this can also include many of the megacorporations and relatively smaller factions - including those with whom I have associated in the past. I make no excuses for my own hypocrisy here.

The Adakul focus on meditation to find inner peace and calm, but do not preach any particular religion or even the general need for one. This appeals to me personally.

Prejudging where and what I will be upon conclusion of this period would defeat the purpose, but I do hope that many of you find similar calm and peace for yourselves in the meantime.

Pilot Truza, I also wish you the best and know that your strength will allow you to find some semblance of peace.

In the meantime, I have indeed moved onto a new project, about which I'll have more to say soon. But I'm confident that you would approve of it, at least in broad strokes.
