To hack you he obviously must have your password and account name, so I'm quite sure you did something to give away your account info(Whether it's account sharing or a keylogger or whatever) so you will just have to wait for an answer from them, if you are gonna ask for answers etc. it will not help at all and hell, you may annoy them enough to stop trying to get it fixed for you, or atleast that's what I'd do if someone kept spamming me with how his items are coming back.

Which is why you'll never last in customer service type job, people have problems, people get angry, it takes a good customer service rep to keep their cool. Don't act like you've never got pissed off with your internet provider or something because the internet is down blah blah, this is no different.

The service that should be available to me is not, and so far it's taken 11 days and it's yet to be fixed. If this was your internet provider, you'd be extremely pissed off not having internet for 11 days.

Anyway that aside, I used to play eve with the person, but never did I ever once say that he could use my accounts, I came to uni and stopped playing eve because I didn't have time for it. How he got my password is a mistery. The logs will prove that I never ever once let this person use my account for any reason.

Not mandatory.

Fishing mails of links, there are so many ways for someone to get in your own computer while you are at it and so few really limiting the risks because they think "why me?".

The real hackers work for internet/people freedom mostly and will target public domains, the random one is just doing it to mess with you. Nowadays is mostly random disturbed people/kids that have no other reason to do this but to harm you as much as possible by any means they can find.

This is one of the reasons why I have to agree with internet restrictions and mandatory public ID.

Yes thank you for the internet lesson on keylogger and Phish mails but if you read up above you will see that he seems to know the alleged perpetrator and to my knowledge phish mail generally do not give you a bio as they are attempting to rob you blind. Hence my statement above.

Well I had 18billion in the account, my character was worth around 10b which was sold, the sale of which can be found here https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1081417#post1081417 he was sold for a stupid 4.5b even though he had full snakes and full slaves..... but nevermind.

Someone using the account, spreading the transactions over a period of time would be much harder for CCP to track down the hacker then if everyone was transfered in 1 day....

I would say it is you. You show all the hallmarks of an impatient, spoiled child.

In your first post, you tell us a story but don't provide full details. No where did you mention you had the account back, nor anything about the missing skills. Sounds like whomever bought your account was podded a few times with an insufficient clone. Tracking down those details in the log would be difficult. Given that it took you a bit to admit this information, my bet is your petition was lacking in details also. This would force ccp to have to ferret out more information from the logs because they can't fully trust your side of the story. So the time it takes to verify things increased.

Then this quoted post, where you just whine. If you continue to harass the gms in such a manner, it takes time away from solving your actual issue. They have to read each petition update whether it is relavent or not. so again you waste their time and prolong the issue.

Now my guess, petitions are ranked and treated with certain constraints. In ordee to appease the masses, there is probably a limit also on time alloted to each petition. Better to solve 100 normal petitions to make 100 customers happy than hours going through life on something for 1 customer. So by pushing back and not settling for the initial resolution, you delayed the process again. Now I am not saying you should have settled, I am just pointing out this all takes time.

So yes it is you. Yes it may take a bit given how specific your issue is and the time it will take to fully resolve will be a few weeks. How you deal with this is up to you. You can complain here, get tripled and frustrated, or get back to enjoying the game which is what I suggest, or move on to something else you enjoy.

You wait as long as it takes them to go through all the logs.

As someone already pointed out, this isn't something that can be done quickly. It takes time, sometimes a lot of time.
Just because you make a petition that you're missing this, this and this, doesn't mean that they just take your word for it. They have to actually verify that not only are you missing something, but that it was removed while the account wasn't in your possesion.

Patience is a virtue.

And just out of curiousity, are you saying that you're missing skills?

Yes, I had T2 large blaster and T2 sentry drones but now I do not.... I guess i'll take Lady Ayeipsia's advice and just wait around for it to be dealt with.

Everything was explained in the petition to the GM's I do not want to divulge everything publically here because only the GM's need to know but thanks for the advice, i'll just sit and wait I guess Roll

No matter how much you ***** and whine, it'll never make things go faster. It'll prolly give the GMs a reason to take their time actually. (I worked as a CSR (customer service rep) for an ISP company, it was a rule to do so.)

So be patient and take your own advice.

Honestly, how many blasters and drones are we talking about here? Enough for a ship? 2? I mean its T2, we're talking like a couple mil per gun at most.

As long as it takes. The system is stuffed full of dross which eats up a huge amount of GM time and like it or not, you have to wait your turn.

Normally I do not talk about specific petitions on these forums, but I am making a very small exception here.

@Sir13 Your petition is in the queue and you have had numerous responses already. You also had a definitive answer already, but you demanded review further up the chain. That review will happen, but, as stated, this will take time. Please stop giving my lovely colleagues in Community unnecessary work by posting your questions across several threads. The only course of action at this point is patience as this is a very lengthy and time consuming process.

I appreciate your compassion but I have not had a reply for 11 days, and the reason I wanted the petition escalated to a higher level was because GM Thunder seemed to think that I was only entilted to the accounts back in the form "as is" which meant my character Preestar was gone for good end of story.

I'm sorry but I won't accept that.

Anyway I trust that the GM's will eventually get around to my case it's just hard, I'm not the most patient of people. I'll just wait for the outcome.

Ok, so Sir13 lied somewhere and/or failed to mention a few details (as proven before) in his threads. Then continued to prove to the community that he's a whiny little spoiled brat.

Gotcha!

I advise you to not discuss specifics on our forums. In respect for our customers (and you) I have tried to keep specifics our of my reply as best as I could. This is genuine advise as this is not the sort of subject that should be discussed in public due to the sensitivity of the information involved.

Basically they are saying shut the hell up while they work on your issue. You wanted an escalated response? Well these things take x amount of time because you and everyone else wants an escalated response from a much smaller group of supervisors than are available.

Jesus christ, my manager at AT&T would have just cancelled your account by now, refunded you whatever and told you to never do business with us again.

Whenever I make a new petition asking for an update on my current petition they just tell me "Your petition is still active, please do not make more than one petition relating to the same problem, thanks"

So they ask you not to make more petitions on this issue... and you do so anyway? And you're surprised that they aren't dealing with the issue?

Put yourself in their shoes - would you rather solve a problem for a polite customer who made a single petition containing all the relevant information needed, or one that spammed you every few hours with a new update bugging you for a reply?

Personally, I would VOID all his claims since it is CCP policy NOT TO TALK ABOUT YOUR PETITIONS ON THE FORUMS AND HAS BEEN STATED SO MANY TIMES I CAN NOT COUNT AND YET STILL PEOPLE DO IT BECAUSE THEY JUST DONT CARE ABOUT THE RULES.

For this reason, I would VOID his petitions and deny whatever claims are trying to be recovered.,

But then again, I have to deal with spoiled "I;m entitled" assholes at work (Insurance agents) so I have short tolerance for that type of behavior.

FC, what do?
