I awaken in a medical bay, completely unaware of who I am or how I got here.
What kind of life have I awoken to?
A voice suddenly introduces itself to me.
Who is this? Why is she talking to me?
It's a cybernetic implant.... I'm a clone...
I suddenly remember my name, I am Cynthia Gallente. I'm a citizen of the Gallente Federation.
The voice tells me she has a mission. There's a ship floating in space waiting for me.
Who placed this ship out there? Why didn't this benevolent force leave the ship on the station with me?
I obey. I retrieve the ship and return to the station.
The voice chatters at me some more, instructing me and commanding me.
What kind of life have I awoken to?
Eventually the voice doesn't talk to me as much, and I meet new people who give me missions.
Many of these missions are dangerous, many of these missions result in the destruction of my ship.
I trudge through these missions.
What kind of life have I awoken to?
I continue, I find some stray space pirates who try to rob me. I kill them.
I find some rocks and try to extract precious minerals from them.
Eventually a corporation scouts me, they tell me all the joys I can experience by being an employee of theirs.
Eventually they fire me.
I fly solo.

What kind of life have I awoken to?

What type of life have you woken to, indeed!

Just be aware that you are now immortal, and unbound. The destruction of your physical body has no relevance beyond the loss of valuable assets such as implants. Be careful of what questions you ask of this universe, sometimes the answers are unsettling.

We look forward to getting to know you (and some of us of course look forward to meeting you in combat).

Too bad my memories of life before are still way too fuzzy for me to discern anything.
But for everyday I spend here, I feel like myself slipping further away from the truth.
Or perhaps... closer to a different truth.
The voice in my head has quited now, she rarely talks to me anymore.
It gets lonely out here sometimes.

While the new life as Capsuleer might be a bit confusing in the beginning, I hope that you soon will adjust to it and discover the almost infinite possibilities you have now.

You are not any longer easily controlled by fate, instead you are shaping your own fate! And together with that you also influence countless other mortal humans.
