Donating FW LP .... wait, WHAT ??

I've just read that one can donate FW LP in order to upgrade a system. Do I get something in return ? Or is this me spending my hard earned LP so that my business rivals can get their LP-store-stuff even cheaper and undercut me in Jita ?

Is there at least some kind of statistics/highscore on who spent how much ? Some kind of loyalty reward or somesuch ?

If you don't like your comrades getting some cookies from this, you can think about it like that:
If you farm tons of LP, you sacrifice part of it for upgrades, so your total profit from remaining LPs will be greater than profit from total LP without upgrades.

From a minnie perspective, to keep our massive LP store discounts we need to keep our FW control points high. This is done by holding systems and upgrading them with LP. If everybody gives, everybody profits immensely. Don't be a leech and profit without giving back.

It would be nice with a feature showing what % of gained LP a character donates back to the faction.

Yeah would be nice to have a league table with that kind of thing.

And we at QCATS thank you for it, my hanger grows with stacks of SFIs and Fleet Pests :) Always try to put some LP in upgrades when I head to Hek to spend my LP.
