When you enter lowsec you get a big popup that describes the dangers. READ IT.

People go to lowsec to fight. I only check the age of the people I kill after I kill them. If you see a good target you go for it.

Do not fly what you cannot afford to lose.

Well, yes, there's ample warnings before jumping to lowsec and a 9 days old pilot in a drake surely doesn't tank well.

Question is: why did you go in lowsec to begin with?

Once you leave highsec, you're fairgame for anyone and as mentionned already, people usually shoot first and ask questions later, it's a form of greeting :)

If you want to do to lowsec, take a small fast frigate. It will allow you to evade most of the dangers while you get the hang of the game mechanics.

You chose to enter in a slow large brick (drake) without support from your corpmates. You put yourself in a very dangerous situation. EVE is unforgiving.

Why were you in lowsec?

Sorry if my first post was too rude.

There is no protection in low-sec.

There are only sentry guns on gates and stations, and those can (and are allowed) to be tanked.

There is also a big warning pop up when you jump into low-sec, you didn't read it.

Low-sec is where people are allowed to shoot others, you either live with it or you don't.

As for being new, nobody can see you are actually a new player. You can just as easy be an alt of a veteran player.

EVE isn't fair
EVE isn't easy
EVE isn't a hand holding game.
EVE isn't safe (unless you stay docked).

Don't fly what you can't afford to loose (EVE rule no 1).

Also you will loose ships more often in the future. In space, no matter where, people can shoot you if they want too. High-sec has CONCORD that will punish the offender (They punish, don't prevent). Low-sec only has gate / station guns, null-sec has nothing.

Titan, it's usually more dangerous to be in low-sec than to be in null-sec, despite the fact that low-sec is still officially empire space.

The thing is. Low-sec is pirate territory. Player pirates that is. They are not large enough, or organized enough to be in null-sec, so they choose low-sec as the best area for them to operate in. Some of them even prefer low-sec over null-sec as it provides an opportunity to hit stragglers coming in from high-sec like you, or haulers on their way to null-sec (though they tend to use cloaks, or are heavily guarded).

At any rate, low-sec: do not venture in there. Stay in high-sec for the first weeks or months of the game. Players living in low-sec don't care about a negative sec status. They don't want to go to highsec anyway.

Only head to low-sec if you really have business there. But then go prepared and either bring a ship that you know you are able to take on others with, or bring a cloak ship that can avoid gate-camps relatively undetected.

Choose a different agent. I too learned that the hard way: lost a wreathe twice while just doing a distribution mission on my way through-low sec.

Yes, bounties do show up when players select another player. It will appear right underneath their sec status. Bounties can only be paid out when the one carrying the bounty on his head is podded. So this is likely not in high-sec.

Lol, bounties are broken

You place a bounty on him, he will rol his alt out and POD himself and collect your money.

Might aswel give him the money directly.

This is, of course, assuming that the person has a second account to begin with. Many do, but not all players.

Yeah, or just a friend in corp and split the ISK.

Either way, bounties don't work at all.

As bounty doesn't mean the guy is free for all in high-sec at all time. Only when he has a low enough sec status, and even then podding isn't allowed, only shooting his ship.

So you either have to suicide gank him, or fight him on his turf (low-sec) and take a huge sec status hit.

Somebody attacked you in a PvP game and that makes you believe you have to right to insult that individual? We are not going to miss you.

Why are you all replying to a troll alt post?

Don't give up so fast. Losing ships is part of the game an no big deal. Just learn from your mistakes and try to avoid them in the future.

Some people say: avoid lowsec, or don't run missions in low.

I say: run the missions and learn how the game works. In your example: You should be able to complete a lv 2 mission in a cruiser or a frig. Bring something fast and try to avoid other people. You are too young to be flying a battlecruiser and you don't need it for level 2 missions.

If you see me online in the game, convo me and I'll teach you some survival tricks in lowsec.

Because it's fun, and in a way it may help real newbs who read it.

As for OP, know it is a troll and he is failing.

Next time, use an alt and drake and blow it up with your main to make it show up on EVE-kill / Battleclinic to make it a believable story.

No proof = didn't happen.

dont do mission in low sec you can always cancel the mission once per hour and not take a hit for it...

what i would do is look for a mission hub that is not even close to low sec that way when you do do missions you will never be sent to low sec to do them...

in low sec your protection is local and d-scan and corp allies like a bud sitting in a cloaky ship waiting to attack your attacker...

Keep in mind this is EVE. You aren't special just because your character is young. You are just another target.

It isn't personal.

If you are going to whine and rage about losses, EVE may not be for you. The whole game revolves around destruction. Don't get attached to the pixels.

I'm surprised at 9 days you are in a Drake, and more so decided to take a drake to lowsec. I'd recommend a Merlin until you get used to the place. In fact, I'd recommend you buy 25 Merlins to start, then by the 5th or 10th loss you might not be panicking enough to learn something from your mistakes.
