That's painful but only a level one skill so not as bad as an out of date clone.

i agree that the clone system could use some work.

i undocked the other day without upgrading my clone, once i realised as i was traveling back to a station to rectify the error i disconnected at a gate as a neutral warped in... logged back in in a station with mining barges V missing, 11 days with out a way to make isk was not pleasant.
