Stupid Noob Question concerning the Orca

I just bought an Orca for use as a hauler, and I've noticed something strange. When I fit Cargo Expanders into the low slots, the fitting interface shows an increase of cargo capacity from 40k to 70k m3. BUT The new inventory window still shows only 40k m3 capacity and will not let me load more than that. Is this a bug in the Inventory window or is it that cargo expanders don't work in capitol indy ships?

What happens is when you open inventory window is that it defaults to Orca's corporate hangar. Its size can't be modified. Corporate hangar: Unscanable by players and nothing drops from this hangar if your ship gets destroyed.

You can access other hangars from tree view on left side of the window.

Expanded cargohold IIs are generally a bad choice for Orca unless you really need that space.

This

Heck is tedious than before inventory change but we have to deal with it X

Also:

-you can't use your fitting service to refit you own Orca X

-you can't configure Corp Hangar/Ship Hangar access to someone specifically X

-you can't increase your cargo capacity by filling Iterons of stuff and put them in the ship hangar because of a silly mod restriction just like if you were jumping with a carrier... X

And last but non least: fit a tank on the dam thing, yes you loose cargo space but 200K EHP, will surely make you gankers undesirable target provided you're not in wardec or normal cargohold full of faction mods

Thanks for the info, I was trying to move a bunch of ore with fewer trips but oh well, the plan was to put the cargo expander lows in for the occasional station haul, and swap out with a DCII and reinforced bulkheads for normal belt operations,

I guess I will live with the DCII and Bulkheads...

99.9% of the time no one is going to bother you if you take ore from once place to another using the ship cargo hold.
You can still fit your ship for 180K+ EHP and have a good enough cargo hold, which will discourage others from suicide ganking your ship.

Notice that you can use Large Containers using 3K M3 of cargo space but hold 3900M3 of stuff, you should be able to increase your holding capacity of over 10K M3 thx to this.

However this new inventory didn't brought the option we were already asking for old system:

-loot all cans
-transfer all cans content to hangar
