Eve ONline: Iteration Naming your ship...

With the new V3'd ships i think a great iteration would be naming ones ship with having some sort of graphic image...

if you look at fighter and bombers from WWII they have amazing ghrapics on the side of the ship next to its name examples are seen here , http://acepilots.com/planes/nose_art/thumbnails7/WWII%20Red%20Light%20Rose%20plane%201.jpg

what i envision is take the character creator and mod it so you can pick and choose between set graphics and font styles for the name of your ship... kinda like the sigil designer on D3 but this would be eve syle...

i know they are planing on adding corp/alliance names/ logos but i would also really like to be able to design and customize how the name of my ship shows up on it...

Although of course you'd have to be able to save a decal so you can re-apply it to your next ship once your previous one has been blown up!

I don't see a TTP problem here any more than with the Corp symbols.

4000 pilots on grid in local 48 different corps. You don't see the difference...

it would be rather small in comparison to the size of the ship... you would either have to zoom in or right click and show info to see it in proper detail...

Personally I would not mind having just writing on the side of the ship stating its name, much like you have on real world ships.

Sorry but file “forumsig.GIF” is currently unavailable please come back later…… like in a year or so.
