Hey can someone point me to a pros and cons list for c3/c4 vs c5/c6?

Or if there is none, run through the basics?

Afaik c3/c4 sleeper sites can be run solo therefore always something to do even if there are no fleet ops. but just less isk.

c5/c6 is more isk but you need to have a group to run the sites.

How about we do it the other way? You tell us what you want to do and we can tell you the best system - static combo to achieve that goal.

C4s are technically the safest wormholes because they can not connect directly to k-space.
C6s are the most dangerous (IMO) because there are the fewest of them and the most dangerous w-space alliances live in them (K162 / Exhale. ect.) and ususally live in C6 statics

Of course, in wormhole space you should never think your entirely safe, and to be as safe as possibly you should be watching signatures and all connections in the wormhole you are running sites in.

Very vague list of criteria, so here is my answer based on your list:

C5 are better than C4s/C3s.

C5, Is most likey the Safest since there are so many empty ones.

You need a great many folks to live in C6's. Security is an issue in those systems.
If you are into a lot of pew do it. But compared to other wh class fleet engagements are not uncommon.
You will encounter the large wh alliances often.

C5 got the advantage of being hidden among the many. Yet many c6's connect to c5's.

For both of them hold true that you need 4 cap pilots + assistance to make isk.

However, if that is an issue to assemble you probably will be kicked out.

C3's are very popular as they can be done by smaller operations. Somewhat more dangerous than c4's as they are often crossroad systems to larger wh chains.

C4 sites are a bit harder to do than c3's but have an advantage of obscurity.

Imo, for new wh's insisting on making mistakes by themselves and not joining and learning a wh corp a c4 with a c2 static seems like the best choice.

And lets just finish the list.

C1's are not worth the logistics. C2's most often cannot pay for your losses.

Unless you primary income is PI, static hi or low is NOT an advantage. You will want a static to another wh, else your wh will be gank haven for daytrippers.

OP You imply that you want to be able to just log on and farm solo..?

For isk/hr that's C3. C3's most commonly connect to low/null.

Sounds like you need a C2 with C3 static. C2 just as a base for POS, roll the static C3 to find anoms & sites you can solo, and use the static's out hole to low/null for more isk plus pewpew.

C3's are 99% occupied, but that makes it all the more fun :)

pros: people who are good at w-space
cons: the dudes who steal everything of yours
