Missions/Incursions advice for a player looking to get into them!

Dear Eve piloteers,
I have recently sparked an interest in possibly being able to get into some decent missions and or incursions, but the problem is.... I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THEM! I would like some advice on what to get into, and what to avoid. I want to be able to sustain myself in-game without having to worry about buying PLEX's to fit ships and such. I am a deep Gallente pilot who can fly anything up to a Megathron, branching off into Caldari and Minmmitar Bcs. I would really aprecciate some advice, because as far as missions go, I'd like to start getting my rep up and getting into lv 4/5s as an end-result. So any advice on ships to be used, and incursion/mission advantages and disadvantages, would be extremely appreciated. Thanks guys! Reply to this topic to get back to me!

Incursions are pretty much dead. The amount of time waiting for a fleet , and money/risk invilved doesnt worth doing it. Aim lvl 4 , with a good drone ship you can do em pretty fast maxing the isk/h . When you are able aim for level 5 . You need for start 2 accounts for level 5 , 2 battleships 1 tank the other remote repair/ dps. Blitz those. Laters when your assets are done (POS , carrier , blitz ships 2k tank) you can substain both the accounts with 1 days farming (assuming you can go there and dont be interupted so much )

I'll agree that drones won't help get you into Incursion fleets but they are awesome in missions. I love my Dominix with sentry drones.
