It *was* perhaps true when he reviewed it; But lets be clear; he's a professional troll.
There is a big difference between trolling and being 'diametrically opposed' to the whole concept.

Just as a little thought experiment here; go out to Jita/Rens/Dodixie etc and see how many people consider that explicit player involvement is a flaw in this game :)

Y'see, trolling implies that you know that what you're saying is inflammatory and liable to upset the target audience; pointing out the best things about the game as a negative thing isn't a troll; it's pure straw in the mouth, red-neck Hick believing ignorance.

EVE thrives on the fact that it (and we) appeal to characteristics that don't matter to other MMO players (I might even be so bold as to suggest everyday people not just gamers); I believe that he could have got into that mindset and still have made his usually humorous criticism.

Sadly, he focused on the best parts of the game and negated them or called them the worst. That wasn't trolling us; that was him trolling himself. Ok, ok, maybe not trolling himself but talk about missing the point ?

Or, he made you think that he was actually diametrically opposed to the concept of eve with his post, and perhaps still plays. And is therefore trolling you with a 4 year old necrotroll.

I'me with Brother Ockham on this one; As it's more likely that this OP is an ignorant troll-bait rather then the real Yahtzee coming back to prove a point.

Nothing like posting a link to that video to elicit massive nerd rage from the EVE forum player base. It's the only time you'll ever see everyone from carebear to griefer in agreement over something.
