I've been playing Eve since 2006. I've recently come back after a long break and decided I'd like to see what's changed about the new player experience since I made my first character over 6 years ago. I did these videos mostly for my own enjoyment, but I've tried to talk about the various aspects of Eve in a way that I hope new players might find useful.

I've done this every year since joining the game in 2007 (making a new character). I've always had a random character skilling from scratch somewhere. It does change things up alot. One of the things I like about this game is you're able to change your style of gameplay and how you interact with players @ any time (just be someone else, randomly). Unlike in real life. There's still alot to explore in this game. I've only recently come close to fulfilling all my goals and random interest.

More than anything. It turns a dull and boring game. Which everyone feels @ some point. Into something interesting again.

It's my first time doing this in 6 years, but you're right about it turning a game that can get dull into something exciting again.

I've uploaded my 15th video in the series. I'm now in a cruiser and running through the Sisters of Eve Epic Storyline Arc.

I have to say that CCP has really improved the game for new players. Between this Epic Arc and the profession agents, there really is a lot to do, and they setup you up with everything you need.
